This is great if you like pets!!!About five years ago I hade sea monkeys for the first time. I absolutly loved them! I had the Ghostly Ship, it is fun to have in your room, but DO NOT but by your bed because when my dad came to cover me up he tipped it over and the top came off and all my sea monkeys died. I would recomend this toy to kids and adults of all ages.

bloody cool sea monkeysThese sea monkeys are bloody cool!I had the sea monkeys for two whole years!The sea monkeys are very easy to keep.All you realy got to do is follow simple dierections.It tells you step by step instructions to sucess.One of my favorite feature is the flash lite at the top of the tank.Another cool feature is that there is a hand book that tells you tricks you can teach your sea monkeys.Also the ship in the tank glows!I recomend this kit to you over all other sea monkey kits.

THE BEST SEA -MONKEY KIT!!This kit is the best sea-monkey kit made! All the other kits don't have everything you need to keep your sea-monkeys alive. My other kit was Magic Castle and it lasted about 1/2 a year and this kit's sea-monkeys are still living and its been a year I think.

Great review from the child I bought it for!I purchased this toy for a dinosaur loving little boy who lives in another state. I figured this was a good buy, to get him something different than the usual Wal-mart gift. (Hoping that I wasn't getting him something that he already had.)
He loved it! He loved the volcanoes.......that was way cool for him. And the fact that it could be packed up got rave reviews from the Mom.

Great Dinosaurs!My 4 year old son saw this same set at a neighbor's house and he didn't want to put them down! LITERALLY! (We had to carry him home screaming apologizing profusely for his behavior to everyone) Even days after, he wanted to go over and play with them. But the screaming episode afterward kept bugging me and didn't want to go through that again.
So I asked my neighbor where she got them and logged on to Amazon.com to find them. The local Toys R Us were sold out.
For less then $25- it's a great collection.
With so many dinosaurs in various sizes, trees, rocks, volcanos and a playmat in a great carrying case- I couldn't resist to get them.
We took them to the beach just last week and there were 3 other kids ranging in ages of 2 to 5 and we were amazed how quiet they were playing with them. Only problem was getting them back from them when it was time to come home. It was their turn to scream =)
The names of the dinosaurs are underneath them, so if Mom and Dad can't remember which is which, flip them over and with confidence call out the name. Therefore impressing the kids to the end of the earth. "Mom you are so smart" my son once told me. Hey, it felt good!
And soon you and the kids will be able to recognize their names without peeking.
Great gift for all ages and he continues to play with them months later. ahhh peace and quiet.

My daughter loves it.Although she loves it and loves to sing along with it. I am not sure how long it will withstand her play with it. It's head moves side to side and she tries to hold it still. It is however very nice to hold, soft and easy to clean.

Fantastic Toy.This was a Christmas present for my 4 year old daughter. She has not been able to put it down. She takes it everywhere, even to bed. She loves singing along with it and even reciting the spoken words. And this bear has been through so much physically and is still in great working order. Out of all of her Christmas presents, this is the only one she plays with consistently. She loves it so much, she now wants a glow in the dark one for her Birthday. I purchased it at Amazon Toys R Us for a great price, and I needed it pronto and got it in 2 days (2 days before Christmas). I am pleased with the toy and the service. I'm glad these cute bears have made it back into circulation.

The first time I was introduced to the toy wa swhen I worked in retail and happened to stumble upon it on a day I needed some cheering up and the adorable little toy certainly helped! I always made an attempt to venture down to the toy department when I needed to smile and eventually bought the critter when I left my job. It's been months, now, and I still laugh everytime I set my Deedle Dude off!

She loves to try and get the cat to dance by clapping (although she doesn't clap loud enough) or simply by touching his head. Not many things get her to dance but this toy does! I don't find the tune at all annoying, in fact, I find myself bopping along with it. Very durable toy as well. This cat gets hugged and thrown around a lot! Great toy to buy for a child that needs some encouragement to just act silly once in a while!

My daughter loves these!My daughter got a few of these Melissa & Doug peg puzzles for Christmas, she is now 16 months old and has mastered all of them by now so I keep buying new ones, I love that she loves to sit down and do them, It is so wonderful to sit and help her and watch her learn! I think these are wonderful! She gets so excited to play with her puzzles!
Great Puzzle for My 2 Year OldMy son received this as a gift (via Amazon). He loves it. The colors are bright, the pictures are clear and the puzzle is very durable.
Like all puzzles, once children have mastered them, they're ready to move to other toys. However, I recommend this for 2 year olds. The parent can play along and use it to build vocabulary (where is the dog? what sound does the dog make? let's put the dog puzzle piece in . . .).
Puzzles are wonderfulHere is the thing about puzzles: Puzzles develop eye and hand coordination. Also, little children do not memorize a puzzle, do it one time and that is it. Little children will do a puzzle over and over again. Ask any teacher who teaches younger grades. Puzzles are great.
Personally, I look for toys that are fairly quiet, easy and fun. If they are educational that is good too. I prefer toys that will grow with a child, foster independence and creativity. Puzzles are great!
These puzzles with knobs are excellent for clumsy little fingers to play with. The little knobs make it easier for the child to get the pieces in the spot.
I particularly like the bright pictures with the matching picture in the hole. After the child outgrows these, you can buy the puzzles that are not individual pictures (but rather each piece is part of a whole!) You can graduate to more pieces in a puzzle and few visual clues. So, this puzzle is a great introduction to other puzzles as well.
Another way to make this more challenging is you can mix up several puzzles and let your child work on three or four at once.
Wonderful. This is one toy I'm glad we have in our house!

Awesome for family funI bought this for my daughter for christmas and we made it a family project, we each painted a butterfly and it was alot of fun, gave her a chance to use her imagination as to what she wanted HER butterfly to look like...She attached the magnets and we now have it displayed on our refridgerator. I would definately reccomend this for a child who loves to be creative.

Fun Art KitWe recently did this paint your butterflies kit on a gloomy day. When we opened the box, I really did not expect to spend too much time to finish it but it was one of those projects that you can finish quickly or be really creative and have hours of fun. Everything you need is in the box, the main objects are 3 life-sized wood butterflies that look real, I was expecting those flat ones that you see in some craft stores but these are so nicely done that my 9 year old said she will keep forever. She was very proud of her creations, my husband and I each got the ornaments with gift cards and she kept one as a magnet for herself. She also learned about butterflies from the information included and the incredibly detailed identified box. We got 6 more kits for her cousins and they all loved it.

Awesome educational game!My 4 year-old, now 5 year old, loves this game. There is a lot of reading required for the game but that doesn't hinder my son's enjoyment. The game challenges him to make good decisions and he likes choosing which dinosaur to be. I cannot recommend this game highly enough. Excellent.

Illustrations by Rick Spears...make this a game worth snapping up. Spears injects life and behaviors into his paleo artwork, so kids imagine how the prehistoric beasts lived and died. The game is a little complicated, but in that respect it has more lasting value because the boredom factor doesn't slip into place too soon. And kids learn real science as they play. Fun game, great illustrative contributions by Spears.
A personal opinionI bought 'survival or extinction' the dinosaur game on a trip to the USA for my kids. My daughter is 6 years old and my son is 9, both are fascinated with dinosaurs. My wife and I played the game with our children, and i must say, that was one of the best activities we shared with our kids. I thought the game had an interesting angle of each one of us becoming a different dinosaur, and competing with each other, we definitely had our unique personalities and virtues. we were kidding each other for days later. The children remembered so much about different kinds of dinosaurs, their eating habits, their natural habitats and the challenges they faced to survive. It is rare to see a game which is so much fun and educational at the same time.
