The Dog Feature Plush: Beagle

Beagles are wonderful dogs. They're affectionate, incredibly loyal, and highly energetic. In fact they're so energetic that many beagle owners almost wish that the dogs came with an ""off"" switch when you just want the dog to stop jumping around. Fortunately, this animatronic beagle provides just such an option. When the dog is in ""play"" mode, one pat on the head will set it off barking and fervently wagging its tail back and forth. In ""demo"" mode, a squeeze of the paw produces the same result. The joyful expression is fairly brief so even if you don't set the hidden switch to ""off"", the dog is difficult to accidentally rouse. The beagle is colored brown, tan, and white with a black nylon nose, and big brown eyes. We liked the dog's peppy displays (played at reasonable volumes) and the fact that it was soft enough to hug. --Charlie Williams

You get what you pay forWhen I saw this cute toy I thought it would be perfect for my 16th month old daughter. Within the first hour of play the batteries wore out, after replacing the batteries the ears stopped flapping, the tail stopped wagging and all it does now is bark. My child lost interest so it is sitting in her toy box (I turned it off because it would bark as soon as you walked by it). Obviously, it was not meant for extended play. It was cute though.

great toy if it doesnt breakThe batteries that come with the toy only last a few days but the quality of the toy is garbage. Within a few days of owning it the ears stopped working and the "petting" sensor only works every once in a while. ...

cute, but disappointingMy son recieved this for Christmas and the next day, it quit working. The dog is activitated by petting its head, after which its ears move up and down and it wags its tail. It worked wonderfully right away, but then when my son tried to get it to work the next day, it would work once and then not work again. My husband tried to fix it to no avail. We found that it would work if you removed the battery pack and banged it on the table-how fun is that? Somehow, it did start working again, but now the ears do not move. This toy is extremely adorable when it does work. We threw away the box and now have no way to contact anyone about the defective toy. This may be a fluke thing, but just be careful.

There's not much that's cooler than your own star.I'm giving this to my 21-year-old boyfriend for Christmas. The bear will be a funny little gift from me to him, and the chance to name his own star will really make this Christmas special for him. He'll really think this is very cool. I'm thinking of getting one for myself, as well, because I'm jealous of his chance to name a star. Plus the bear is so cute!

SecuritySo many children have problems falling to sleep at night and I think this might be the perfect answer to our problems for all ages from 2-9. I am buying 3, one for my 9 year old daugher, one for my 8 year old son, and one for my two year old nephew. Not only can they learn by naming their own star they take an interest in astronomy as well. They can also cuddle the sweet bear that gives them light in their room, too. What a great idea! Thank you! Then they have a collectable which is for all ages. Thanks again.

Love itWe got 4 of these as CHRISTMAS gift for our Grandchildren. I love the idea of them having a star to watch that they have named. We did for 2 girls and 2 boys and their stars are all about in the same area of the big bear. How great to look at your star and see your cousins who lives in Texas. The bears are so cute with their glow in the dark stars and their blanket.

Soft and cuddlyOut of all the stuffed animals my son has received, this is his absolute favorite. It is soft and cuddly and he loves to hug it and kiss it when it gets close to nap or bedtime. He is now 20 months old and loves to have it next to him when he sleeps. When he wakes in the morning he makes us bring his doggy with us before taking his juice cup. I don't think it's machine washable but I did have to stick in the dryer after he dunked it into the cat water bowl and it came out fine.

Great DinosaurMy 3-year-old son absolutely LOVES dinosaurs, so, of course, he has just about every dinosaur out there. But one of his favorites is the T-Rex of this line. It's big and sturdy, but soft and flexible - much more realistic than the hard, plastic type - which means nobody gets hurt when the dinosaur play gets a little rough, and nobody hurts their foot by accidentally stepping on it! We all love his T-Rex dinosaur, and I look forward to adding to his collection with this Stegasaurus and the Brachiosaurus (by the way, the previous review is not taking into account human error when listing these two items on the web page - you can tell by looking at it that it's a Stegasaurus, it doesn't take away from the toy itself). All I can say is that if this toy is anything like the T-Rex, you can't go wrong.

The Breyer ArabianThis Arab stallion is black with 4 white stockings on his legs. He has a white blaze down his face. His head is lowered to a threataning pose with his tail raised to show his leadership. He is in a steady walking pose. This is a one of Breyer's most beautiful models. It is worth every dollar and coin spent.

Pretty good...This model depicts the Arabian breed pretty well. The only problem I have with it is my model sometimes has trouble standing because of the leg positions (and that's one thing about some models that really drives me crazy). But every horses is a little different, some have better legs than others.

Cool for display but not for playI got this model in addition to Scamper the barrelracer. Dun It is beautifully and realistically colored with a pale dun coat, tiger stripes, dark mane and tail, and dark muzzle. This model would look great on a display shelf but isn't good to play with. The paint comes off a little easily, the tail tip can get nicked easily, and you can't do much with the position it is in. Otherwise, this is a truly special model.
Breyer horses are the best toys on the market!This model is one of the best new molds that Breyer has produced in the past ten years. They are finally recognizing Rodeo horses in their line. Hollywood Dun It is an awesome model, with beautiful coloration!

Care Bears Stare!!!!!Wow Care Bears has come a long way since the first movie that they stared in(we have both movies on viedo). Now they have plenty of clothes,accesserious, and most of all TOYS!!!! But the toy I bought was the Cheer Bear plush doll. It is a very fun toy.....well maybe not fun but cute and very fun to show off. I loved it AND all my freinds did! I would sooooo reccomend it to kids of all ages 12 to 20 or even 9 to 90!!!! I loved it! Well bye!!!

fun new animalsThese animals came with our Noah's Ark set. Not only are they fun to play with in the set, but my 19 month old daughter learned three new animal names. She recognizes and can say "leopard, rhino" and "peacock" (hence the 5 stars for educational value). She has so much fun playing with her Noah's Ark set and these animals!

FunThese animals are a great buy if you are buying the Little Peoples Noah's Ark as your little one can have even more fun role playing with all the different animals.
Each animal is has a difference so you can tell them apart and say one is male and one is female. My children love matching and lining up. They also enjoy all the extra animals for their Little People collection. Our animals have visited the Little People Farm, and riden on the school bus we have.
As with all Little People sets we have found these to be easy to keep clean and extremely durable.
Recommended especially if you have or are buying the Noah's Ark.

Finally.Finally The Muppet Babies on DVD. What I can't understand is why with a doll. The DVD's say "not for individual sale". I am 21 years old. I do not play with dolls. But I bought them just for the DVD. Luckily, I have a 5 year old nephew. He loves the dolls. This is worth your money. But there could have been more than one episode per DVD.
