Tron has several missions to complete-but she does get a little help from some mechanical friends. The anime-style character is able to control a number of different robots, including a mech with treads and a digger. These friendly little robots, known as Servbots, can scout out new items that help in the game-but they must first be trained. Each little robot seems to have its own personality and is prone to laziness unless properly inspired.
Tron Bonne seems to have just the right mix of graphics and gameplay, as well as cute voice acting and a memorable cast of characters. It may not be Mega Man Legends 2, but The Misadventures of Tron Bonne should satisfy fans of the popular series. --Robb Guido
Pros:
- Adorable anime graphics
- Lots of variety and minigames
- Game is painfully easy near the beginning

Funny to the end!!!Pros: You can develop the Servbots' abilities ~ Lots of different gameplay styles and details ~ You get attached to the characters and they are very funny
Cons: A little bit too easy in some levels ~ Some powerups and abilities you almost never get the chande to use to their full potential...
Must buy for any MegaMan fan! :)

In Allegiance, an exciting new team-based multiplayer-only game from Microsoft, players assume the role of pilots and commanders, all in an effort to conquer the universe and defeat the opposition.

RevolutionaryOn a totally seperate level, each side has a commander who has duties such as expanding your base into new solar systems, harvesting resources which can be spent on new technologies, new bases, or new ships (basic fighters are free, but everything from a heavy fighter to a bomber to a capitol ship requires funds). Additionally, there is a tactical view which allows for easy coordination of assaults and defences. These two components, real-time strategy and space simulation, are seamlessly integrated and leave opportunities for a gameplaying experience beyond any other.
The graphics are entirely functional, and it plays smoothly, with minimal lag. There are no longer Microsoft supported servers available, but rest assured that this game is still alive and well thanks to a very dedicated fan base. These servers are consistently populated, so you shouldn't have any trouble finding people to play with, and now that this game is largely in the hands of the fans, it is receiving updates and modifications beyond anything Microsoft was going to do. Allegiance has my whole-hearted recommendation.

Best MMOPG Ever- FPS (Dogfighting, Turret gunning, bomber runs)
- Strategy (Resource management, tech paths, tech resources, minning for income, almost all characteristics of all Strategy Games)
- Simulation (actual space simulator, flying with a large variety of ships and class ships, (Interceptors, Figthers, Scouts, Capitol Ships (Cruiser's Frigades)
- MMOPG Massive, MultiPlayer , gameplay, where the "Team work" is the key to the game.
This is a game none like any other, It is extremely unique. It has amazing graphics, that will blow you away.
the one and one one downfall is the "Learning Curve" it's not a huge curve, the keys are basic as any other game (learning getting used to them) the game is also Joystick Playable and or keyboard / mouse) The curve begins when you try and take or do too many tasks. Try one task and master it then work on another, listen to others and watch everything :) Soon enough it will all fall together..
This is great game is highly recommend, with an Active community and growing.
GoodLuck and Hope this one makes it for you!

A must have for any PSX sim fan!
WOW
The best space-combat game for playstationFor starters, in the presentation and production values department this game is just plain awesome. Not ONLY does it feature some of the best graphics ever to be found on playstation, not ONLY does it feature a branching story and changes based on your successes or failures, and not ONLY does it feature some of the best menus, menu sounds, music, and in-game cinemas to be found in any game for any system ever... it also features a built-in encyclopedia of all the star systems, planets, and ships in the game complete with voice-narration!
This game offers great challenge, great gameplay, flawless presentation, tight controls, and a great storyline. The music is so good I wish there were a soundtrack.
This game is everything a great game shoud be, and fans of classic games owe it to themselves to buy this one A.S.A.P., especially if they like space-combat games.

They should remake this nextThe Story here is that Samus Arron has defeated Mother Brain and her space pirates on Planet Zebes, her next assignment is the exterminate the Metroids. So it is from here that the game begins. You must eliminate 37 or so Metroids scattered throughout the caverns of the Planet, but the metroids are not like the ones from before, as these particular breed have mutated to a more evolved state.
This game is interesting in that it is still classic Metroid fun, but with a few complaints. The First one is that the game is real short. The nesxt is when it comes to gathering powerups those too happen fast. Within a fifteen minute time span (all in one to two areas) I went from the Ice Beam to the Wave to Spazer to Plasma beam. That was in a fifteen minute slot. The final is that outside of the Final Boss, there are no other major bosses. Unlike the first in which you had to Face Ridley and Kraid first in order to proceed, this one just throws at you one of the four evolved forms of the metroids to deal with.
I am not saying that this is a bad game but if you have become hooked to say Fusion or Zero than this game is a step down for you (and if you only played Prime well avoid all together). However if you are a die hard collector or are interested in the full story than this game is a must have in the legacy. Just be warned it's short and sweet but with a hard edge (difficulty).
Classic Metroid at It's Best

Shock and Awe approach to a classic premise.Einhander has one thing the others don't: bells and whistles. It's got multiple ship models, neon lighting effects, nominally interactive background elements, and obsessive attention to fine graphical detail. (Actually, this sounds like pretty much any recent Square game.) The visuals are startlingly slick, but conceptually really pretty boring. Ok, Einhander sports an ultra-cool "cyber-punk" vigilante nightlife theme, which really is borrowed straight from FFVII, which is in turn really just stolen from Blade Runner, isn't it?
So, the graphics are extraordinarily polished. Very flashy. So what else? The sound is average. The opening level has a nice operatic techno aria (very elegant), but after that the music just fades to the background. It's lame soft trance junk, but it really doesn't matter so much since it's drowned out by explosions most of the time. The explosions and other sound effects are acceptable, but really not very notable. Occasionally there's some command recited over the PA in German, and that's fairly unique. But nothing too exciting.
The gameplay is strictly linear, and in this neo-classical shooter context that's fine. The emphasis is on reflex, not exploration. Again, the levels are very detailed and I suppose well designed, but the Philip K. Dick urban battlefield motif is a bit tiresome. There are lots of mechanized little pieces of robots and tanks and hangars and factories, and well THINGS that have little details to impress and wow the player. It's all very well done, but with little imagination. Enemies are mostly utility/military contraptions reminiscent of Aliens vehicles. They're all finely detailed, with no real surprises. The bosses are more of the same. Only bigger, madder, and with guns on top of guns on top of guns.
Speaking of guns, the weapons system is pretty cool in theory, but not really very unique in practice. You blow up a ship, it leaves its gunpod behind. You pick up the gunpod and use it until it runs out or you get another gunpod. Ok, it sounds cool scavenging parts from demolished machines, but it's really no different from picking up a little shiny powerup bubble left behind an explosion. The guns themselves are varied and pretty cool, my favorite being a light saber fixed on your nose that's pretty much indestructable. But otherwise it's standard stuff: spreaders, seekers, bombs, etc... All of this also relates to which ship you choose at the game's beginning, since different ships have different gunpod mount/laser cannon combinations.
So the game is not by any means bad. It's very good, actually, but it is without a doubt overhyped. It's beautiful to look at, but in the end not really all that fun. It's a 'retro' title that plays by the rules of modern gaming: make it big, beautiful, and cinematic, and the uninspired gameplay will go unnoticed. Fans of the genre should definitely give Einhander a shot. But those ready for more, here are the alternatives: G. Darius for imagination and sheer fun factor, R-Type Delta for strategic challenge, Thunder Force V for a more retro feel, or either of the Ray series for top-down vertical blasting.
An awesome shooter...but lacks a 2 player mode
A side-scrolling dream come trueEinhander's visuals are beyond reproach. The backgrounds are vibrant and detailed without being garish or distracting, especially stage five. Ship designs are cool all around, and every enemy, from the mightiest boss to the lowliest peon, goes out in a blaze of glory when you destroy it, instead of merely blinking out of existence or disappearing in a bland red puff.
On the audio front, the sound effects are excellent. Launching rockets, shattering neon signs, and, of course, explosions. All well done. The intentionally emotionless female voice that addresses you after each stage is very credible, and the German commands you hear during boss encounters lend a terrific sense of atmosphere to the game. Moody and catchy techno tunes provide the musical backdrop and, for the most part, complement the corresponding areas perfectly. The operatic female vocals at the beginning of stage one clash very effectively with the destruction that ensues and let you know your ears are in for a treat from the start. And, the music for the sixth stage end boss (after the rocket with the time limit) is so rousing, you won't even care when he kills you 20 times in a row.
Eight special weapons are readily available and there's something for every taste, from the heat-seeking Wasp ("You can run, but you can't hide!") to the lightsaber-like Blade ("I don't need no Force to kick your sorry butt!") to the no-nonsense, wallop-packing Cannon ("JUST DIE!!!!"). Plus, there are four others (each a sort of variation on one of the ubiquitous eight) hidden throughout the game.
Einhander's developers hit the nail squarely on the head (pun absolutely intended) where the challenge level is concerned. The game can get pretty rough, but it's the GOOD kind of rough. No shields or defensive power-ups are available (one of the game's very few flaws) so one hit will kill you, but it has to be solid, direct impact. Enemy bullets that travel at 2 MPH and just barely graze the little ball on the top of your radio antenna don't count. The last two bosses are tough to beat, and some of the earlier ones aren't exactly a cake walk either, but the only one that I think crosses the line between "challenging" and "frustrating" is the robotic ape mid-way through stage five. Oh, how I despise that banana-chewing abomination!
You get three lives per credit and nine continues for a total of 30 lives, though you'll earn an extra life or two along the way when you attain a certain score. However, there is one point in the game...the rocket you approach from behind...where, if you fail to defeat it within the given time limit, it's GAME OVER no matter how many lives or continues you have left! So, unless you want to see the "bad" (or should I say "worse"?) ending, I'd advise you to get yourself killed if it looks like you're not gonna get the job done in time. Then, you'll get another shot at it.
If proof was ever needed that 2-D games can still be plenty of fun, Einhander is that proof. I revel in the fact that it outshines many more modernized games on all fronts despite the old-fashioned 2-D gameplay. The only exception is the Wasp missile being able to seek and destroy on-screen enemies that have yet to align with your ship (and certain objects in the background, too...that's a hint). Some might complain about the lack of a two-player mode, but in my opinion the gloomy suicide mission aspect of the game would be jeopardized if it weren't played solo. With three ships to select from and no shortage of secrets (including two additional ships), the replay value is strong, but even if that weren't the case, you'd want to play it again and again anyway, because it's crafted with such tender, loving care and, on many levels, it's flawless. I have no qualms about calling Einhander one of the all-time great games for the PlayStation. Square would be well advised to re-release it (along with Final Fantasy Tactics and Xenogears). Don't hesitate to grab a copy if you come across one, as I for one am NOT selling mine!

You assume the role of a commando with a super-extendable bionic arm. Your task is to free your ally Commando Joe, who is trapped in an enemy prison. With the bionic arm, players swing from place to place, stun bad guys, and even grapple walls and ceilings. As the game progresses, you'll earn new weapons and armor. Unlike most side-scrolling action games, your commando (playable as a male or female) cannot jump from platform to platform. This twist brings a refreshing bit of strategy to the generally fast-paced action.
Commando boasts some of the best graphics the Game Boy Color has ever seen. All of the characters are smoothly animated and, considering the tiny size of the screen, the levels are very detailed. Whether you're a fan of the original 1980s Bionic Commando games from the arcade and the original Nintendo Entertainment System, or want to experience one of the best titles on the Game Boy Color, this is a portable gaming classic. --Mark Brooks
Pros:
- A refreshing take on the crowded side-scrolling action game genre
- Easy to pick up and play for good, long gaming sessions
- Controls do not allow your character to jump
- Irritating music and scratchy-sounding voices

Bionic Commando
Fun game.
Bionic Commando. The best gameboy color game! There are 15 Normal stages in the game and 2 secret ones. It's really cool how instead of jumping you must use A grappling arm to get to higher places. It shouldn't take too long to get used to it.
One of the things I love about this game the most besides the fun factor, is the awesome music. Not everyone may like it, but the music really stuck with me.
I have played through the game countless times since I have bought game the game. And I will probably play it many more times.

A Fair Fighting Game
No need to rent, safest buy you'll ever make
X-tremely fun!Well, I am happy to report that the flaws have been fixed and that this game is truly an enjoyable experience. The characters from the first game are back, and the developer has thrown in some new ones (Forge, Rogue, Havoc and Nightcrawler) as well as some secret ones. They have added aerial combat and given the "Academy" mode a few new lessons on combos and air-combos. The gameplay itself seems to have sped up and the matches go quickly...x-pecially if you are an x-perienced player who has mastered the combos and counter and special moves. While load times seem a bit longer than necessary, the art is nice and the load screen displays the directional instructions on how to preform the special attacks...so you can study up between matches.
The final verdict on this game is 5 stars becuase it is a vast improvement of the original and the bugs and annoying awkwardness of the original has been overcome and improved upon. Activision and Paradox development have done and astounding job on creating a game that is fun for beginners and challenging for players who happen to be a little more serious in nature. Great game!

The game allows you to play as any one member of the team: cover-girl assassins Hana Tsu-Vachel or Rain Qin, master operative Royce Glas, or greedy killer Jakob "Deke" Decourt. The game's variable ending changes with the disposition of certain in-game events, and other hidden features promise added replayability.

A good game for the more experienced gamerThe thing that makes this game so great are basically the graphics, sound quality, and most of all, overall game play. The graphics in FE 2 are a little different from most others. That's because it's anime style. I think it looks awesome, for a PS one game. This game has the potential to become an instant classic action/shooter game. It is just is so good! In the whole game there are a total of four different characters you control.
This game doesn't just have good things, though. There are also some flaws. The controls are, at first, kind of screwed up and it takes a while to get used to them. It's not too bad. Also, there are many diferent camera views, which is most of the time pretty cool, but some of them just don't get you a good enough view of your surroundings. You also die a lot before you get it right. Those were the only things keeping this game from getting 5 stars.
Oh yeah, FE 2 has 4 discs, which probably seems like a lot to most people. It's not too much, actually. FE 2 is also definitely not a game for younger kids. Because both of the difficculty of the game and the content present in the game. Two of the characters are lesbian assassins- I think you get it.
Overall, the pros definitely outshadow the cons in this case. Fear Effect 2: Retro Helix is just a really cool game.
All in All, an Intriguing Plunge into the BizarreThe main drawback of this game is its difficulty. Much of the challenge in the action sequences is simply mastering the art of trial and error as well as the controls which compound the frustration. Needless to say, the added "quick load" feature of FE 2 is a merciful addition to the series. Many of the puzzles are equally trying, but, in the final assessment, they are a big part of what make FE 2 so great. They stand as among some of the most engrossing challenges in a video game to date.
Be forewarned: FE 2 is not for the weak of heart! For those who are up to the challenge (and a little frustration along the way), I highly recommend this game.
Hana, Rain, love them for they are your's to control.
