    Classic
Another old classic of the Play Station that few people know about, but it is a load of fun to play. Four players score goals against each other in a rotating room filled with traps and obstacles. The graphics are not high in quality and you can get tired of it after a few chambers, but it is always fun to play with your friends every now and again. This is a great party game to be taken in small doses. A great way to frustrate casual gamers as they team up against you and still fail against the skilled. This game is worth owning at this price. A nice addition to any collection of party games. If you do not enjoy playing games with groups, then this is not a game for you.

    NICE!
Fun game, cool futeristic sport, good music, what more can you want from a game? FUN FOR MULTIPLAYER!

      Newer version similar to original
Blaster Master: Enemy Below is as exciting as the original NES version with a couple of twists. There are newer weapons rather than just the grenade and gun weapons. For example, there is a gun upgrade that lets you shoot in a scatter shot instead of a straight shot. There is also geographical differences from the original version. Most of the scenes are different than the NES version but the music is the same. Some of the controls are hard, espically when you get into the water and ice levels. I gave it four stars instead of five because I expected the exact, or a close version of the NES original, like Super Mario Brothers for the GBC. It has its similar characters, locations, and even some level bosses. One of the benefits of this game is that it can save your progress, unlike the original version. If you are looking for a adventure game that has some challenges and puzzles, this may be the game for you. Have fun on you adventure, down below.

P.S. For those of you that played the Blaster Master Boy on the game boy, this is not the same type of game. You actually get to drive the truck known as the SOPHIA, and there is no bombs, other than grenades that can blow up the enemies.

      The Best Game Ever!!!
This is the best game ever. I rember playing it on the NES. Finally they brought it back for gamers to enjoy once again. It still requires all the skill it did way back when, but with a fresh new look. Many gamers may not remember this one but when i found out they had released it on the game boy i was overjoyed. This game is a very challenging one. It is one of the few that may keep you stumped for a while. I suggest buying this game if you every have wanted to play a fun game

      Bonz Velociraptor (Small)
      Made by BC Bones
      Age Group: 8 - 12 years
        Amazon base price: $29.99
Among the smartest of the dinosaurs who roamed the earth 65 million years ago, Velociraptors were also deadly predators who hunted in packs to satisfy their carnivorous diet. Made from Baltic birch, the 62 interlocking pieces in this kit require no hardware or glue to assemble. An excellent exercise in shape recognition and spatial reasoning, assembling the puzzle requires patience and careful attention to detail and, possibly, the assistance of an adult. But the rewards are great as you transform a pile of scattered "bones" into an impressive scale replica of a Velociraptor skeleton. Once the puzzle is assembled, you can leave it standing as a display piece, or disassemble it for future use. A wooden "rock hammer" and sandpaper have been included to aid in the assembly process, but you may pick up a few splinters putting this wooden puzzle together if you're not careful. An educational dinosaur booklet and scientific fact file have been included along with assembly instructions and an excavation site map. Measures 21 inches tall by 36 inches long. --Chris Burns

        Great Together-time activity!
My 5 year old's grandfather bought this for him and the three of us put it together! He could help identify the major pieces but I had to find the pieces that went together for the most part. He loved tapping on the pieces with the little hammer after I would stick them together to make sure they were together. He keeps it in his room and refuses to take it apart. The only downfall is that the legs easily fall off when it tips over and I have to put it back together. Not a big deal! I plan on getting him the T-rex for Christmas this year!

        Amazing and scary
This is a great toy I may take it from my son and put it in my office. It looks vicious, like it's going to walk over and bite at any second. fun to put together and solid as a rock. Cool wood, too. my son won't let it out his room. it took a while to put together but not too long.

A massive improvement over its Game Boy predecessor
In 1991, Mega Man finally arrived on the Game Boy. The following year, a sequel was released. How does this new adventure on the hand-held system measure up? Read on and find out.

          Graphics: 4/5
For the Gameboy at the time, these were great. The picture is sharp and clear, just like the NES games. The only problem is you have less room on the screen to move around, but other than that, the graphics are fine.

          Challenge: 2.75/5
This game is longer than the first Game Boy Mega Man, but much easier. You can have four energy tanks, greatly reducing the difficulty. The passwords take you to the mini-boss before the space fortress, so unlike the first game, they do some real good here.

          Play Control: 3.5/5
Just like Mega Man 3 on the NES. Walk, shoot, jump, slide. The slide is tricky at first, but you adjust quickly.

          Theme/Fun: 4/5
It's a portable Mega Man game, and much better than its predecessor. You've got the Rush Coil, Marine, and Jet, all of which are cool items. The Rush Jet in this game has precision control, something it wouldn't in later games. As far as the Game Boy goes, this is a GREAT game.

          Storyline: 3/5
Wily uses his space fort/time machine to go to the past and bring back old robot masters, as well as the future to get some new ideas. It's a cheesy plot, but it's better than the "revenge" or "fake bad guy" plots.

          Music/sound: 4/5
Unlike the NES games, the tunes here are originals. Damn good ones too. The sound effects are also very nice.

          Overall: 4/5
If you only get one Mega Man Game Boy game, make it 4 or 5 if you can find them. If you CAN'T find them, THIS is your game. Once you start playing this one, you won't want to put it down.

          Easy game but extremely fun
This game takes the best elements of Mega Man 2 and 3 on the NES, and puts them together for a gameplay experience you won't soon forget. You've got Rush the robotic dog, energy tanks, and other innovations. Once you defeat the robot leaders, you'll battle a mysterious foe, and then enter Wily's space fortress(see the melting clocks in the background? Either Wily has found a way to distort time or he's in to Salvador Dali's artwork.) Give this game a whirl if you have a Game Boy. It shouldn't disappoint.

            Sea Monkey Fun
Thought a review in english would be appreciated! Very easy to set up - and easy to care for. Really cool to see how they hatch immediately and grow so quickly. They don't resemble the grinning illustration on the packaging ,of course, but still cool. And easier to keep than most pets! Very inexpensive introduction to science, and even my four year old is very interested. Hard to find extras like food though. Great value!

Best Leappad book my kids have.
Have had this book about 4 weeks. My kids, 7 and just 5, boys, can rattle off so many facts and figures about the solar system after playing with this book it is incredible.
They understand them too, it is not just parrot fashion. They can both name all the planets, tell you things about them and they just love this title. None of their other leap pad books get a look in. And its aimed at 3rd grade - my oldest is in 2nd and youngest the year before 1st. It's brilliant and I hope they release more magic school bus leappad/quantum titles.

                Beautifully restored classics
With good reason, the R-Type series has been called one of the finest side-scrolling space shooter titles around. Perhaps this is due to an extremely unique style of gameplay. Now, the first two titles in the series have been rereleased on the Playstation! Read on to see how the game measures up.

Graphics: Beautiful yet simple graphics, just the way a side-scroller should be. 4.5/5

Play Control: Simplistic, like most side-scrollers. 3.25/5

Challenge: This is a HARD game. Don't expect a free ride. 4/5

Theme/Fun: It's a fun game, but there's a problem - It's all previously released material. If you want a totally new R-Type adventure, look elsewhere. Still, these games rock! 4/5

Sound/Music: Very nice, they contribute to the science fiction feel of the game. 4/5

Storyline: In your spaceship you must destroy an evil empire. It's a story that's been done to death. 3/5

Originality: The play style, which revolves around the force device, is something no other shooter series has been able to match. 4/5

Replay Value: Sadly not too high (getting high scores is the only reason to play more than once.) 2/5

                Overall Score: 4/5
I LOVE R-Type games, AND THIS IS THE BEST PORT OF THE FIRST TWO GAMES ONTO A HOME SYSTEM (The GBC title R-Type DX is missing levels.) You may have to look around a little for this title, but the end result is worth it.

The Greatest Shooter of All Time
Though I missed R-Type in the arcade, the R-Types compilation is definitely the best game I've played in the past 8 years, stomping flat all competition, from RPG super-cult-favorite Chrono Trigger, to NES classics like Legend of Zelda and Ninja Gaiden (yeah, I missed those when I was younger but am catching up with the used game market), to multimillion dollar budgeted games like Metal Gear Solid, to pop cultural phenomena like Pokemon. Every game was left it in its wake. If I could only have bought one game over the past few years, and that game was R-Types, it would be satisfying. Not only has it reminded me of why I started becoming a gamer to begin with, easily harkening back to old classics like Super Mario Bros. and Crystalis (though, after playing more SMB lately, I would say R-Type has aged much better than SMB, actually. Granted I haven't owned R-Type as long, but it is nearly as old). Prior to playing R-Type I hadn't played too many space shooters, despite playing a wide variety of other games. This wasn't because I wasn't interested, I suppose, although the systems I had, the NES and SNES, weren't as much shooter systems as the systems I didn't own. But my purchase of R-Types, partially a bargin impulse buy, partially bought because of good word of mouth, partially bought because of some fondness of mine for arcade compilations, totally changed my view of games and has influenced me to pick up other games faster than I would have otherwise. Axelay for the Super NES, Einhander for the Playstation, Thunderforce 4 for the Genesis - all these and more I bought because R-Types influenced me to look for other games of its style and quality. I even bought R-Type Delta the week it was released due to a fever pitch of excitement over the prospect of buying the sequel to the game which has set off a renaissance of gaming of sorts for me. But, keep this mind, none of the games that I was inspired to buy after playing R-Types has exhibited the impeccible degree of perfection that R-Types exemplifies.

As for the game itself, R-Types is almost certainly the hardest game I've ever played, and this challenge is derived from the canny level design. You'll need to master every aspect of your ship to finish this game. Though early levels require a bit of memorization of enemy patterns, higher levels have all sorts of challenges, including the final boss of R-Type, which is based on pure reflexes, concentration and skill as enemies pour in from all sides, to the stage 4 boss of R-type 2, which is a fast scrolling, action-packed chase, to the final stage of R-Type 2, which requires moving your ship through the tighest of spaces, and doing elaborate manoeuvres with your pod. Other stages are just plain cool, such as the assault against a massive mothership.

For these reasons and more, I consider R-Types to be unquestionably one of the very greatest games of all time.

It really does make learning fun
I found that this book contained the same type of materials that my son was learning in forth grade. It was very helpful.
This learning toy is kept in our car, which makes it handy on trips.

These books work on the regular and pro Leap Pads Also
I searched for a really long time the other night to see if the Quantum books work on the Leap Pad and Pro systems. I never found the answer. I almost ordered the Quantum for my 9-year-old granddaughter but decided to wait. In a discount store I saw the books, and it clearly states on the book that it will work in all Leap Pad systems except My First Leap Pad. What a relief. Saved me $40.

Best Leap Pad Book So Far
I recently bought this book for my younger sister. She has been struggling in school and these books have been a great help. She loves them so much that our family uses them as an incentive to do better in school. The Smart Guide to Fourth Grade is probably the best book I have seen so far. She had so much fun playing the games like Spelling Stingers that she didn't even realize she was learning. What really amazed me is that after just half an hour with the book my sister was doing fractions! Her teacher hasn't even touched on fractions yet. I know fractions are usually one of the hardest things for children to grasp but she understood it in just a few minutes! The only reason I didn't give the book a five in durability is that the little cartridges that come with the book get lost so easily! I wish leap pad would come out with a storage system for the books and cartridges.

As Roswell Conspiracies: Aliens, Myths & Legends begins, a group of allied intelligence agents discovers that extraterrestrials are roaming the earth, stalking humans for food, sport, and more sinister agendas. To stop them, they form the Global Alliance, an underground, multinational movement. Operating out of a bunker in Roswell, New Mexico, the group's members come from elite police and military units, as well as the FBI and British Special Air Service.

Based on the animated TV series for kids, you play as Nick Logan or Sh'Lainn Blaze, detection agents charged with protecting the earth and its inhabitants. You'll find yourself immersed in a world of aliens disguised as vampires and werewolves--carnal beings from myth, legend, and our nightmares come to life.

                    Average review score:

                    A fairly decent title
Roswell Conspiracies for psx is based on the television animated series. Originally planned as a N64 exclusive title, Roswell N64 got canned and was instead slated over to the psx. The psx version doesn't ubset at all. The graphics and huge atmospheres in the game are impressive (especially for a 32 bit system). The opening theme music at the beginning of each mission adds a gloomy, spooky, and horrifying flavorful feel to the already quiet and secluded areas. The sound effects (while not plentiful) are well done and sound similar to those of a "Star Wars" film. The only major down to this title is weapon variety. The special weapon/gun you gather during a mission is then discharged once you complete that entire mission. Boss encounters also force you to use only the gun you start out with from the beginning of the game (the special weapons to which you gather in your inventory during a mission are not optional to use during boss battles, the time when you need them the most). Other than that, Roswell Conspiracies psx is a solid title to have for anyone who favors action/adventure games, and for anyone who also likes challenging (but not too complicated) puzzles. Highly recommended.

                    THE TRUTH IS IN HERE
THIS IS A REALLY COOL GAME WITH PRETTY GOOD GRAPHICS AND SOUND (FOR PSX). THE GAME PLAY, CONTROLS, AND PUZZLES TO SOLVE REALLY MAKE THE GAME. IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE BASED ON A CARTOON (THAT I'VE NEVER SEEN BUT LOOKS LIKE IT SHOULD BE ON THE WB ALONG WIH BATMAN AND SUPERMAN) AND LOOKS LIKE THAT'S WHERE IT CAME FROM (IN A GOOD WAY). AND THE BEST NEWS? IT'S UNDER $... (WHICH IS $... CHEAPER THAN THE GB GAME). I GUESS THE TRUTH IS IN HERE.

                    Roswell
Buy this game!!! This is one of the best Playstation games around at the moment - fantastic graphics, great gameplay. It's just like the cartoon.

Pretty good game...even with Mark Hamill in it!
This game is pretty neat. I haven't gotten very far in the game yet, but what i have played so far i have enjoyed. The dialogue is corny at times but funny also. But with Mark Hamill you have to expect that i guess. Don't get me wrong i love star wars just as much as the next person and i do like Mark Hamill, but he can be pretty cheesy at times. Also starring in this game is Tom Wilson, who played as Biff in Back to the Future. Overall, the graphics are very good for 32 bit and you will have a fun time playing it.

Killin' Cats cool, but meant for slower machine
Wing Commander is probably one of the coolest sci-fi flight sims out there. Episode III is largely an interactive movie, but the flying still rocks. My problem is that I'm running it on a 333MHz machine, which is a little too fast (I have the detail all the way up, and my reflexes STILL can't keep up). So it might be good to try it on something a little slower.
The story line is pretty good so far (I haven't finished the game yet). Having Mark Hamill play the lead role is pretty cool; it's kind of like being Luke Skywalker. And I love how human everything is -- some flight sims, your wingman is some nameless dude that ocassionally says some stock thing. Here, your wingmen have personalities (they each have their own little sayings, i.e. Maniac's "It's party time!"), fighting styles, even differences in how brave/cocky they are. And what's more, wingmen actually matter; I find that even when I'm in a mighty Excalibur, if a bunch of light enemy fighters gang up on me, I'm space dust. The missions also start out simple, and get more and more challenging as you go. Fortunate; I hate it when a game's too easy. But this one passes.
All in all, this is a cool game, albeit a little old. I think it's completely worth the buy. Check it out.

                      Pretty cool
Okay, this was the first "Interactive Movie" on the Playstation and I actually mean MOVIE (In other words it has REAL LIVE ACTORS!)

This "movie" stars Mark Hamill as Christopehr Blair, a Pilot involved in the war with the Kilrathi that has lasted for 10 years. But videogames are supposed to be played right? Well, this was a pretty good movie. However, with so many movie scenes, the game is hardly called a "videogame". But since on the package it did warn me that this would be a "Movie" I had my warning.

It is a flight simulator game. So there shouldn't be anybody saying stuff like "Oh it was the same thing over and over. Get a briefing, Fly a mission, get a briefing, Fly another mission", no because thats what your SUPPOSED to do in this game.

The game/movie has some good special effects. However, being that this was one of the first games on the PSX I can't say much for the graphics. They aren't all that great. In fact they need a bit of work.

The game is fun but isn't worth the replay. The movie is good but is just too long. The storyline was okay, but not as good as Wing Commander 4.
