Bingo for young astronomers? Two-sided game cards feature single constellations on one side and multiple constellations in a grid format on the other. To play with the first side, you draw numbered stars out of a pouch and match them with those outlining the constellations on the cards. To play with the second side, you pick diagrams of constellations, and the first to complete a row or column wins. Once you've gained skill in recognizing the shapes of the various constellations, you can take the included compass and "star facts" cards outside to find the real constellations in the sky. A lot more fun than old-fashioned bingo, and you learn an astronomical amount along the way. --Richard Farr
