    Fun 4-2, but...
This tube is great for thin riders or one thic rider, but catching a branch will pop this tube, snag this tube while draging it will pop, left in the sun and it will pop!!! Be careful with this tube! Try buying an Inner Tube (the black ones) instead, they are much sturdier than these!

Grab your board and take on the slopes of SSX as you've never seen them before. Two brand-new runs, six never-before-seen riders, and tons of original tricks, shortcuts, and jumps make SSX Tricky the ultimate snowboarding experience. With voices supplied by celebrities such as Oliver Platt and Macy Gray, the SSX Tricky riders come to life on the snow-covered icy mountain courses. Establish friendships, create rivalries, and show off your high-flying skills in three different types of races, and when you're ready to catch real air, reach into your bag and bust out one of the crazy new über-tricks that take airborne flight to the next level, with flips, twirls, and more. New Garibaldi and Alaska courses let you get more vertical and catch more air, while all the original courses have some new surprises. Six new riders join most of the original SSX crew to provide a wide range of abilities and competition.

      SSX- The Down Low
I recently started playing SSXT on the Game Cube and absolutely loved it! The Graphics are outstanding, the characters are crazy, and the tracks are intense! Although my fave character is Kaori Nishadaki, I also like to play Elise Barns and Psymon Starks. (Talk about Crazy!) So I'd say two thumbs up, this game is a must for any age, gender, system, anything!

      It's Tricky, It's Tricky!
I purchased SSX Tricky on a whim, and I've never been happier. The graphics are astounding, the gameplay is addicting, and the trick-book will take about a week to get down.

There are 3 modes; Practice, Single Event, and World Circuit. Forget about practice. Single Event allows for both single and multi-player, forget about multi-player. World Circuit allows you to gain medals based on races, and show off's (based on your tricks). More medals mean better ranking, better ranking means better boards, meaning better tricks. The trick book has 30 tricks for you to do, per charactor. When you finish a trick chaper (about 5 tricks), you get a new outfit. Stylin and profiling..

However, I absolutely will not use an alpine board (the longer ones). Tricks are harder to do, and when you land wrong, you have to turn around (not good for time sensitive races).

The graphics are astounding. From the Easy Girabaldi, to the Super Expert Aloha Ice Jam (why Hawii has snow, i'll never know) and Alaska, you'll be blown away. Once you get gold on all the races, and all the show off venues (much, MUCH more difficult than it sounds), you'll get a silver-surfer outfit.

There are little glitches, of course. It will freeze on my cube every once and a while. But it doesn't happen enough where it affects my opinion of it. As with all cube games, rent before you buy, if possible.

My first game for GC... SUCCESS!!!
      ...

SSX Tricky, one of the very first games for GameCube, has ended up being a favorite by many gamers. With excellent graphics, plot, and features... it makes one of the all-time exciting games that can be enjoyed by a group of people playing together in 2-player mode. The discomfort of vertical split-screen for 2-play mode makes it difficult for a player to see where they're headed, but when a jump nears it's all hell from there on. Characters with motion with real life-like movement, this game has reached the 5-star rating for character-animation. As far as game-play goes, this game is very close to real snowboarding with few minor (exacterating, hehehe...) exceptions. Excellent game overall. Definite 5-star. If you don't feel that this game will be a hit, first rent it and then decide. But I'll guarantee you that you'll end up buying it.

        Even Better than SSX
SSX Tricky is more of an upgrade than a sequal to SSX, but it is still an exceptional game. Two brand new cources, Garibaldi and Alaska are added and both are really fun courses. The old levels are all changed, and some like Snowdream and Pipedream are really different. (Even better, in my opinion) There are 5 new characters, along with all of the old ones from SSX except for 2. There are lots of different grabs you can do, and then you can tweak them all out. The addition of UBER tricks makes the game even more interesting and fun. Each rider has his or her signature move, along with a few other UBER tricks that a couple other riders might be able to do. The only con is the fact that there are only 3 grab buttons on the Xbox version, as opposed to the 4 on the PS2 version, so you can't do as many tricks. But don't let that stop you, this is a really great game that is 1000 times better than Amped or Dark Summit combined. Buy SSX Tricky and see for yourself.

        INCREDIBLE, very original
Original and innovative, this game really breaks the mold. It had me hooked playing it for hours on end. However, it does take about 15-30 minutes to get acquainted with the playing style and how to pull off the big tricks if you have never played such a game before. But that's it, you never have to relearn anything, and it's pure fun after that. This game had me more hooked than Max Payne and almost as much as Commandos 2:Men of Courage. The insane tricks are exciting to watch, and easy to pull off-requiring button combos, but not such hard ones as to make you sick of trying to nail the same one again and again. Most tricks only took me 3 tries at most. Another fun addition is the details of the world circuit mode. In world circuit, you make friends and enemys, depending on how much you knock them down in the level. This is a lot of fun because one, knocking someone down lets you immediately do one of your six big tricks or "uber tricks", and two, players will confront you after the race and talk trash. The player interaction like the trash talking before and after races adds even more fun and humor to the game. I seriously recommend buying this game, and at least renting it

        Perfect, can't be beat!!!!!!!!!
When I went on the disney channel cruise ship and played this game in the game center I stunk but loved it. I loved it so much that I bought it when I got an Xbox. The graphics are some of the best for a snowboarding game I have ever seen. You cannot beat this game in graphics or TIGHTNESS!!!!!!!

Bad port of a bad game
You can find this game on other platforms and it might be more satisfying. But if you bought XBox for its stunning graphics, then you will feel cheated if you buy this badly ported game.

          ok but could be better
this game is unrealistic it takes like 5 sec in air to do a flip and is hard to grind and is stupid because u get a life line but fun for a wile then gets stupid

          Deep But Difficult Snowboarding Sim
I found SSX too "hip" and Amped too frustrating, but ESPN Winter X Games offers a deeply satisfying, challenging and outright addictive snowboard sim. Environments, crash mechanics, and soundtrack options fall short of Amped, but ESPN's huge career mode is brilliant: starting out with no real ability, you work in an RPG-like stat system to earn passage to the Games. There is a very high learning curve on the controls (forget whatever you learned from Amped), but a lot more game modes to choose from. At least five 2-player modes (from racing to specific X events), about 12 licensed boarders, a ton of equipment and 30+ locales to unlock make ESPN genuinely addictive...If you like the idea of Amped but not the game itself, try this one.

            Game Lover
If you love snowboarding, DON'T buy this game. There are no course options, not able to save scores and there are only 3 jumps in a very short course. This game was a HUGE disappointment!

            Game Lover
This is the WORST game I have ever bought. If you love snowboarding, DON'T buy this. Very huge disappointment!

            Winter-X Snowboarding 2
I have played the first Winter X-Games Snowboarding and it kicked. It was so great and fun. Even though I played it for PS2. But I have the second one(Winter X-Games Snowboarding 2)for GBA and its just as fun as the first. And plus its portable, which I think is the best feature of all. So all in all its a great combination of beautiful graphics, extreme tricks, and pure fun.

Not as good as it looks.
Looks cool. However, the steering doesn't really work well. If you try to turn, it either doesn't work, or you end up sliding sideways down the hill. I bought it for my 7 year old son. I've watched him and other neighborhood kids try it, and have tried it myself. Other sleds that are simpler (and cheaper) are more popular with the kids.
