    Fisherman's Challenge
Dumb game. Graphics are good, but it takes way to long to reel in fish and it takes to long for fish to bite. Players swear after losing a fish and the hook snaps off really fast. Pretty dumb game. I wouldn't get this game if you hate waiting a lot.

    Great for the serious angler!
If you really do fish in real life, than you will absolutely dig 'dis game! Unfortunately, this game sucks if you like arcade action. The mini-games suck too. They really aren't worth playing. But the realistic fish, awesome free-roaming lakes[levels], and the amazing graphics make it a must for any serious angler looking for a game that can bring every aspect of the fish to home. It is tuly fairly hard during cold-weather yet really simple and easy during early summer-in other words, the fish don't just hit anything any time! The weather effects are also especially realistic. It is about time the game guys made something for the serious angler! The controls are a bad thing though. The way you reel in is realistic, yet hard to get down pat. Also the fishing controllers will not like this game at all. The fish are also very, oddly strong [yes, yes a five pound Bass or 20 pound Catfish is strong, but come on! Were not playing "Super Bass"!]. This really is nerve-racking. Bottom line- serious anglers:buy for days when real fish won't bite and to go fishing at home; serious arcaders: turn your head and walk away, and don't even THINK about coming back.

      Bargain Basement Baseball
This game is being deeply discounted and it shows. The players all look the same, no variety to their physique (even MacGwire looks skinny!). The batting interface is sloppy; it's hard to judge where to swing at the pitch. Pitching is OK, but handled better by the other current titles. The variety of parks is very good. About the only thing I enjoy about the game is the home run derby (because the pitches come in fast and straight), although it works best with sluggers. Finally, for a game this lame 8 blocks of card memory is a waste.

      Underestimated
I've seen some of the reviews for high heat 2000 and I think they are unfair. I agree that for younger players and those not too interested in baseball the game might not be a good fit. I own all the other baseball titles being a baseball nut. I have to say the game I play most is High Heat. It just presents a greater challenge then the other games. High Heat has the most realistic outcomes. In season mode the batting averages are a factor of player skill as much as computer player attributes. I like that. Triple Play is an absolute joke in that department. Again some people like to have a game where you score runs on homeruns only. thats fine. But if you like the challenge, you can't beat Hight Heat at this price. Peace out.

Sorry graghics, sorry gameplay, sorry announcer. SORRY EVERYTHING! By the way the 5 stars on educational is because it will teach you to read reviews before buying something.

        For real baseball fans!
The graphics on this game won't remind you of NBA-Jam, but it's not supposed to. This game is for purists, people who love the game and want realism. You won't have a player batting 600 for the season, but if you enjoy accurate, realistic pitching, double plays, bunting to move the batter over, pinch hitting, etc, this is definately the game for you.

        Madden NFL 2003
        Made by Electronic Arts

EA's Madden NFL 2003 maintains the series' status as one of the most engaging game franchises ever. This perennial favorite has updated everything from the spanking new venues (including the Seattle Seahawks Stadium) to the ability to now list pre-existing injuries to current players. If you haven't played previous versions, learning all the controls can be a daunting task. You can control everything from calling audibles to throwing a touch or bullet pass--all while the play clock runs down. But half the fun of this game is in the level of detail you can control, including off-season drafts and free-agent signings, game time, weather, and sensitivity to penalties. Madden NFL 2003 has taken video sports gameplay beyond the action on the field--although the gameplay is seamless and the graphics are impressive on the Xbox. They've created a world where you are equally the owner, general manager, coach, and player. The time and attention you must dedicate to creating your team, along with superbly realistic gameplay and sportscasting, immerse you in your team's fate, making the action all the more compelling. --Sung Nicholas Kim

          Same Game
This game is the exact same game as last year. From the main menu to the gameplay. I was shocked how similar Madden 2003 is to 2002. The only thing different is the soundtrack and the addition of the Texans with it's new divisions. You also have rookies in the game like David Carr and Joey Harrington, which 2002 doesn't have. But everthing else is the same. The franchise mode, custom league, season mode, practice, etc.
I often find Madden saying the same sentence three plays in a row, and then not say anything for the rest of the game. Its more like Al Michaels 2003.
It also could be harder. I went 16-0 and won the Super Bowl my first season on All-Madden. I did a Franchise and decided to trade some of my players to other teams only to find out that the computer was incredibly stupid. You can get pretty much anybody you want if you offer them a draft pick.
If I were you, I would buy this game, but make it the last Madden game you buy on playstation one.

New Madden, basically same old game
I purchased this game yesterday and after playing it I didn't notice anything different from last year's version, it plays the same. Other than updated rosters, the realigned divisons, a few touched up uniforms like The Redskins and Seahawks have now and the newer stadiums like in New England and Pittsburgh. Call me crazy, but I was sort of disappointed that the new Seahawks Stadium wasn't added! it looks like the one from last year. Al Michaels does the commentary along with Madden this year, which is cool, but could be better. Madden doesn't appear as repetitve (so far anyway) as in 2001 and 2002, but still says some of the same things. All the same options from last year are still there, including Madden Classic mode again with the old 16 bit version which may have been a nice little touch last year but I didn't care at all seeing it in this game again, it looks exactly the same as well. It's still a good game, but I seemed to expect a bit more from what is probably the last of Madden on PSone, but I suppose this is as good as it gets, depending on NFL Gameday 2003. I recommend it if you don't already own 2002. If you do, then rent this one out first and see if it's worth the 40 bucks.

            Pale Imitation Of SNES Game
Poor graphics and sound and only a fraction of the excitement that you get from the SNES version. The characters are a blur and expose the limitations of the Game Boy. Effectively, it is just a basketball game for the GB and that is it.

            great basketball game
This is a game for sports enthusiasts. It is basically just a basketball game but with good graphics. The auto replay is always fun and there are many camera options. The game has a lot of teams and players.

Not realistic and causes more frustration than anything else
Of course a game like this is not suppose to be realisitic however the gameplay is absolutely terrible I played it once and got rid of it, but it can be fun. I played with the PC version of a similar a game and I can assure you it is much better.

              Fun, but unrealistic, mini-game
This is a scaled-down version that is closer to Arena Football then to the NFL. 5-man teams (with players playing both ways) compete in an often monotonous display of slamming and taunting. There is little control of the players, and this game seems to be geared toward a younger crowd. Nonetheless, my kids enjoy the game, and the optional game features make it somewhat interesting.

                NOT FUN!
We bought this scooter for our 3 1/2 year old. The back wheels do not have a protective cover over the screws that stick out of the center of the wheel like most scooter for young children do. Our son's ankle would constantly hit it when he pushed off with his foot. He refuses to ride it now and has bruises from it. To make matters worse Toys R us does not accept returns of toys that have been put together. (...)

Fun for little rangers with scooter-riding big brothers
Our three-year old loves the Power Rangers and he also begs for rides on his brothers' scooters. When he saw this scooter he was very excited and couldn't wait to try it.

He has been riding around on this scooter for a couple of days and enjoys it very much. Although the scooter has three wheels, it has a narrow profile and can still tip over and cause some minor scrapes. However, as long as it's not going too fast it can be handled by a three-year old.

The scooter seems durable enough. It managed to survive the very poor packing job done by Toys R Us... actually, it wasn't packed. It had a shipping label slapped on the side of the retail box. The box arrived via FedEx ground with all corners crushed and part of one end caved in, tape torn and partially opened.

Surprizingly, there was no damage and no missing parts! The only small parts are a couple of washers and a fastener which were all wrapped and taped to a larger part. There are just the front handlbars/wheel part which slides into the rear footbed part with some washers and a single bolt to tighten. Very easily assembled.

I expect that we will get a lot of use out of this toy.

I bought this game one day, thinkin' it was like tony hawk, WRONG, the graphics stink, the music stinks, and the game is impossible to beat. If your going to buy this game sometime, your going to regret it, I did.

                    Worst CCG Ever
I just got these starter decks as a gift, and they do suck. There's a reason they're out of stock.

First, the cards themselves. The artwork was a little off. More towards the Simpsons comics then the TV show. The "Character" cards needed better quotes or something more humorous. The "Action" cards are just gameplay moves, which should be tied to the show.

Second, the card assortment. When the _hell_ isn't Marge Simpson a "star" of the show? And since when is Mr. Burns considered a "star" instead?? Ugh. And why are the most important cards, OFF, rare? _One_ Homer card in the Homer deck, but _Three_ Herb Powells?! Since when is Herb Powell a "common"?? He appeared in only two episodes!! The Bart deck has three Uters, but no Edna Krabapples or CBGs? Travesty!! My fingers cannot type the emoticon I'm feeling!

Gameplay: utterly sucks. Both oversimplistic yet tediously confusing. The simplistic side is this: play a scene. play characters on that scene. Wow, what excitement. When the number of characters reaches the number needed to "complete" the scene, add up the score. The score is some techno-mobulated number derived from the traits of the characters that match the scene divided by the Klavin of the person who played them, times pi (which is exactly 3). Ignore Actions, since they add no fun and just increase confusion. Ignore "scene rules", since they decided every scene needs a rule, so they come off as repetitive and confusing.

Ignore simple acts of physics, since in this game you can play the same character twice to the same scene, or into different scenes at the same time. I guess this is so they could market those "starter decks" with three Uters and no Krustys. For a kid who hasn't been seen since the last field trip, that Uter gets around.

This is a failed game based on a great series. As a guy who enjoys CCGs, here's the way to repackage this series as a successful game. License out Steve Jackson's Illuminati: NWO collectable card game, and replace it with the Simpsons. Make OFF the major illuminati cards, and the game is right there. Sure, the gameplay is more advanced, but WoC wasn't thinking about marketing to very young kids with all the special scene rules and utterly pointless scoring system.

                    Fun for me...
I've just started collecting and playing this game with my kids - and it's fun. My 12-year-old Yu-Gi-Oh-crazed son , and my 8-year-old daughter will sit down and play this with "Dad." For now, we're playing with just the starter decks cards. (We have the Lisa Deck, Homer, and Mr. Burns so far.)

This is not a toy!! It is for Simpsons fans only! It has Simpsons cards, which can be played as a game. It is really fun, and I would reccomend this for only people that are 10+. It just would not be fun for younger people. Get it, and any of the other cards like Bart, Homer, Lisa and Marge.
