In all the soccer games, the one which is closest to reality as far as all platforms and systems are concerned. It is so perfect that cannot be compared with FIFA series. If you have never played this game, you don't know the pleasure of playing soccer...

This Game is the beast ever the in depth tatical ablitlity make it easy to pick up and IMPOSSIBLE to put down.

The beginner is welcomed with open footy nets just set it to easy and build up to a fantastic game. the players are wonderfully crafted allthough they could be better with Beckham looking more like and sounding more like Backham.

The beauty of the game is the in depth master league. the master league consists of 15 team (one of which is you with a choice of many top class English, Spanish and Itallian clubs)fighting to the top. you start off with the same bunch of average playes (bakers & butchers etc) with winning giving you 3 points in the table and 9 points for player purchases, you also get bonus points for each goal you beat the by! e.g.3-0 will give you 2 bonus points. with this system the likes of Rivaldo and Owen will be at your Disposall!

This game is Class and ive been playing for 4 months straight which has never happend to me, EVER!!!! this is so rare to find in a game and is well worth 30 quid! If you want a good footy game go buy Fifa 2001, if you want a great Game buy ISS Pro Evolution and youl love me forever. P> David Powell

When I started to play this game, I found myself in the different world. The world of soccer. Every movements are realistic.This is the best soccer game around.

I still prefer NBA Live 2000 to any other version, old or new, in the series. It's an excellent game even in 2002 and you can download the latest rosters from a popular NBA Live fan web site, or even download college courts, uni's and teams if you want to (recommended for college fans - it's worth it).

2+ years after it's release, NBA Live 2000 still looks good, price is more than worth it. Make sure you have a gamepad for your PC though.

This game is really fun to play in 2004 because you get to see the old ratings of players (Hakeem Olajowan, 86) and people like T-Mac and Steve Francis and Baron Davis are all average. You get offered a lot of trades if you simulate, and the season goes relly fast. A glitch- Tim Duncan wins the MVP too much. Not very good gameplay for keyboard, but if you have a gamepad then it's fine. This game is great and will still be fun in 10 years.

Great Basketball Game. Since
NBA Live 2001 does not run on XP machine, NBA Live 2000 is the answer since EA sports has no plans to Update Basketball for XP.
The shooting is realistic. Forward lean shots, fade away shots, and awesome dunks to regular lay ups.Dribbling is a little lame but over all this is a nice game for basketball fans to help their favorite team win.

The blitz series in my opinion is the most action for a sports game yet. I like realistic, franchise, challenging games and war strategy games. But this game in my opinion is the best multiplayer game for Nintendo ever.

GRAPHICS

The graphics are good but not in the realistic way.

How hard is the Game Play?

To put it simply this game play is easy in the way you will win 49-10 every game. The only way it is hard is if you are the worst team and the computer is the best team with hard playing by the computer in options.

Bad mouthing?

Don't get to excited because there is no swearing by players just comments from player to player that are mean after they make a tackle or make a nice catch or something.

In blitz you can make your own plays even choosing if you want the player to fake at the time spin or even go faster. But the plays aren't always as successful as they seem when you make them.

Players

Statistical accuracy is preety much given two ratings which are (....bad) and awesome so stat accuracy isnt that accurate. Each team only has their 10 best players on each team and for the rest of the positions are guards and things which play all the same. So there are only really the main players on the team.

Game length

The length of a normal 2 min. a quarter game is about 15 minutes.

Overtime

In overtime you play for two minutes and the first team to score doesn't win instead it's the person who has the most points at the end of a quarter.

Nfl Blitz is one of the best sports games for N64. It it full of intense two player action, and the season playing is awesome! I've gone 15-3 in a season. But only with about two years of practice. So it is really challenging. Overall, this is just a great game. You should buy it!

This is a fun game! The graphics are good, the game is easy to win, and the tackles are awesome. It is better than nfl Blitz 2000, but it is slower than Nfl Blitz 2001. I highly recomend this game.

Here's the deal, many of the reviewers say this is like playing SSX tricky on wheels! Well, with all due respect, its not! Freelstyle is far more challenging that SSX tricky as far as races go and believe me, I love SSX tricky! Plus, unlocking new tracks, bikes and riders will really test your skills. As far as the tracks themselves go, the earlier ones are short, but very tough and when u fall off your bike, there is none of that SSX tricky re-start method; here, you have to go back a few feet!! So, for the 20 dollars you will pay for this game, you will feel that you added a great new game to your collection that will challenge the most experienced gamer and greatly improve the mediocre among you! Go get it, its worth every dollar (not more than 20 though!! lol!)

This game was ok but it hade a couple draw backs. For one the graphics can get muddy at times. herres my rating.

Graphics 4 outta 5 (For certain reasons otherwise they are great)

Replay 5 outta 5 (play it over and over and over and over and over for all I care)

I agree, in part, with someone else that wrote a review for this, saying that it was exactly like SSX Tricky. I agree that it is similar to Tricky, which is also, by the way, a really great game, but its not exactly the same. And i dont just mean the fact that it's FMX rather than snowboarding. For one, i think that its much more difficult. For another, while all the characters in Tricky are 1. all fictional, and 2. all already unlokced, you have to unlock 4 of the 8 characters in Freekstyle, and they're all real people. Their catch phrases aren't as great as say Simon's from Tricky, but that doesnt matter too much. And stats aren't increased by levels, you have to earn them by winning races. Overall, it's a really good, really fun game. If you liked tricky, and you like FMX, get this.

I am a big surfing fan. I live in N.Y so i cant surf, but this game is as close as i can get to surfing. Its an ausome game with amazing grafics! You can choose from 8 diferent surfers and you can surf at all the mondo surfing spots around the globe! There is tuns of tricks you can do and learn. I Think this game is a great game and i guarentee you will think so too, if you get it from amazon!!!!

First off, let me start by saying this is somewhat of an unknown series, obviously overshadowed by the blockbuster Tony Hawk franchise. Too bad. The Kelly Slater games (I've played PS2 and GBA versions) are near flawless video game versions of surfing. Not only are the graphics at the top of the heap, but the controls are smooth and intuitive, once you get the hang of the waves.
Right now the price of this game has dropped quite a bit. One more reason to pick it up, you won't be sorry.

considering its game boy advance you cant get much better than this lots of fun surfing as a world class surfer doing supermans on jaws with 5'11 boards so well work on the realsim but thats part of what makes it fun

We just got the Playstation2 for Christmas, we're not much of a video game family. I bought this game for my 2 1/2 and 3 1/2 year old boys. I was very concerned because most of the games that seem like they will work for young kids - don't. We'll, this one does, and it's great! It may be boring for video game pros, but for the rookies, it's wonderful! My boys played it and it taught them how to use the controller and it talks about "left and right". The best thing is that they cannot wreck, the characters stay on the road the entire time, a huge plus for those learning what in the world the video games are all about!

This is a really good first game for your toddler. All you have to do is hold the controller and press one or two buttons. They will feel like big kids playing like the older kids. The game is simple but has fun characters and several fun scenes. Your child will love seeing Cookie Monster, Elmo and Big Bird on screen. Telly is actually my son's favorite in this game. The nicest part about it is that you cannot lose. If you just push forward the vehicle moves along curves and takes you to the finish. Big Bird is continually telling you what a great job you are doing. It is a perfect game for a toddler just starting to use the system.

Our 3 and 6 year old children got their first playstation games this Christmas. They have no prior video gaming experience, and the majority of the games are a challenge to our 6 year old, and our 3 year old can only play a bit, as he is still trying to get the hang of the controls. This game was perfect for our family, as it is something that even our 3 year old can play with very little help. The characters will eventually finish any race, regardless of our son's inexperience, and it has been great fun for him, since he can practice controls and attempt to collect tokens. I doubt this game would be extremely exciting to a more experienced gamer, but it's an absolutely perfect game for young kids who are just interested in getting to play. We SEARCH for games like this, so both kids can actually play, and we don't have to help them too much.

NBA Shootout is a good game, but it gets very annoying after a few games. No matter what you do, the computer point guard will score a career high at any level. Jason Williams scored 54 points on 75% shooting and had 17 assists against me when I had Jason Kidd and Allen Iverson double-teaming him. The computer also never subs during any game below 9 minutes while your players get fatigued quite easily. It is very frustrating to make substitutions while your opponent, especially his point guard, just go at a really fast pace. Scoring is ridiculous. At six minute quarters, anyone can get 120 points. Worse, in season mode, the game thinks that everyone is playing 12-minute NBA quarters. If you play at 6 minute quarters for a season, the score will be close to a real NBA score, but you will not get anywhere near the rebounds of the computer simulated games. If you want a scoring title, the game has a weird bug, Dee Brown averaged 50+ points for the year by having an opening 500 point game. I enjoy the game, but it is hard to not get annoyed by these little problems.

I have been a fan of the Shootout series since the beginning, and I must say that when the computer is in charge of both sides, I can play a good game. The computer controlled defense is good, but your computer controlled players leave much to be desired. For instance, they constantly run out of bounds on a fast break so that when you pass to them, it's an immediate turnover. Or, when rebounding, the ball falls right at their feet and they don't react to it. I created a player to see if I could take unfair advantage of the computer and of course I couldn't. Overall, the appearance was very good;however, Allen Iverson is too dark to support the appearance of tattoos if the designers had chosen to include that bit of realism. This game is fun to play because of all of the great features it has, but I would rather give some of that up if my players would react the way they did in NBA Shootout '98.

After years of playing with NBA Live, In The Zone I dicided to try Shootout after getting sick of Live's slow play. In the Zone on the other hand is to fast the computer is slow on D you can run them out of the building. Shootout 2000 is perfect speed like a real NBA game if your slow on D the computer will take it down the court in a hurry. So Skip the reviews in gaming mags listen to a real basketball fan and gamer this game is great. Why 4 Stars? Choppy Animation on D.

On a whim I bought this game and have fallen in love with it.I have seen alot of complaints about the graphics but you are missing the point, This is the only surfing game that the moves are real. I mean come on, how many surfers do you know that can jump over a pier on a board? This game is minimalistic and basic which makes it great.

Ive been waiting for a good surfing game to come out for a lonng time. I got sick of all the skateboarding,snowboarding, and other boring sports [games] with so many different titles you couldnt find out whih one was really your favorite. So I picked this up. One of the best ways I have ever spent my 50 bucks. Very realistic, great graphics, great characters, great gameplay, great sound, and great music. All I can say is that if you have no idea what game you want and you have 50 bucks saved up, you might wanna check this out.

I like this game. I like this game because I can beet it. I rented about five-hundred-thousand times, but I've never been able to beet it until last night. I like this game alot! because you can play it against the computer or even a friend. I have this along with Ready 2 Rumble Boxing. I can beet this game. You want proof? Well! It's my job to convince you future fans that I'm unbeetable rather than just very good. I'd like it if you buy this. You'll find it interesting. Buy it and enjoy.

It's okay, but not nearly as brutal and insane as it should have been.

This game rocks! After reading all the reviews, I was very excited about getting this game. All of my waiting paid off one day when my package arrived. When I started playing I noticed the superb graphics in this game. The gameplay was awsome!!! Although it was kind of hard at fist I picked it up easily. This game is nice and challenging with lots of options and bone crunching tackles. The tackles are fun and make the game more exciting, but sometimes they can get a little too much, because the ref barely calls them even if you do put him on the strictest level. Overall this is the best soccer title that I have ever played.
