    Descent game
I bought this game thinking it is going to be just like mike tyson's punchout for nes. Actually, the gameplay is quite similar, but the main difference is that there is a stamina meter that runs out after a few consecutive punches, which [is bad]. However, you'll hate the game at first, but after you get used to it, it is quite fun and challenging. Oh yeah, the graphics and music I would consider to be average. Overall, it is a descent game.

    Superb title!
Although Punch King is already being overlooked, it is one of the funnest boxing games I've ever played. Is it like Punch out? You bet. Only now it's enhanced and portable. The signature boxing moves remain, the sound is fantastic and this game's quite a challenge. I'm very impressed.

Platform hopper with a neat twist
I played this game at E3 and liked it alot. It's cool that you have to use a soccer ball as your weapon to defeat all the enemies. You have to learn different tricks like headers and slide tackles to beat some of the Bosses. The levels are big and challenging and the game play is FAST!

      Fun Fun fun!
This game is wicked! Kicking the ball around is so addictive, kickups, volleys, headers, bicycle kicks its got the lot!! Lovely colourful graphics and superb sooper smooth gameplay.

i recommend you buy this game!!

This game was pretty fun, while getting boring after awhile. O.K. graphics.

          The Ultimate in Baseball
I've owned this game since 1997, and I'm still playing it today. That's how good it is. Obviously it's not that I'm cheap; Triple Play 2001 is only 15 bucks in retail stores. But this game is too good to give up. It has no gameplay flaws, no conceptual flaws; it's the perfect baseball game. Once you start playing you're not going to want to stop. It has Home Run Derby, All-Star Mode, Playoffs, Series, Exhibition, and a Network option. Are the newer games more advanced? Probably... I've never played them. I'm sure I'd be pleasantly surprised if I did. But this game will not disappoint anyone. Too bad it's out of stock...

              damn sstupid game
This game is one of the worst ganes i have ever played in my life. You should play virtua tenis instead of this one. Dont vbuy this game because it sockks.

Nice & Easy (you know what i mean)
This is the easiest Tennis game available for GBA (even Snoopy is harder). I like it partly for the reason that I am 30 & can't win very many of these things anymore (including Snoopy Tennis). Mostly though, I like the graphics & game play. The players are kind of cartoony like a Mario game, but paradoxically the feel of this is more real & smooth, not herky jerky like the Davis Cup game. At the same time, there's the realism of having to win tournaments to improve your ranking, & the "characters" are real players who are mostly still around & doing well. Younger gamers (even boys) might like the stylistic portrayals of the players (they sure are cute), even though it's not much of a challenge.

Parents, if you are thinking about getting this for your son or daughter, don't. Why? because my friend got it, thinking it's a Tony Hawk clone, but this was actually a RACING game, so unless your kid likes racing against the clock, dont buy it. I would reccomend buying Advance Wars instead, because it's a turn-based strategy game, so they don't need hand-eye coordnation, but instead , think...

                AWESOME!!
This game iz gonna be awesome considering that it is the first game for skates and not skateboards!!! All u skate fans should get this and show skateboarders what aggressivness iz all about!!!!!!

                  LOD set review
LOD is clearly one of the best sets along with the newest set invasion of chaos.Legacy Of Darkness is a set packed with dragons. Those are not the only kinds of cards however. LOD is also the perfect set for spirits. They are the most powerful cards that can be played.Alot of the spirits are common but, very good cards!!!LOD is amazingly terrific, it comes with powerful cards like yata-garasu,Fiber Jar,Injection Fairy Lilly, and many more.In case anyone was wondering "The Winged Dragon Of Ra" that comes in the Xbox game will be forbidden!!!It says on it "This card cannot be used in a duel." Take this set into consideration when building a deck. This an awosme set I cant stress that enough. Please rate this review. Thank You.

                  LOD Rules!
Of all the Yu-Gi-Oh expansions out there, LOD is definitely for the die-hard Yu-Gi-Oh fan. If you love dragons like I do and want to build a good deck full of Dragon cards, LOD is definitely for you. In the first LOD pack that I got, I got the Dragon's Rage Trap card which will let any one of your dragons on the field take your opponent's life points away no matter what position their monster is in as long as your opponent's monster has a lower atk/def point value. I also got Grey Wing, which is a 1300 attack monster that will let you attack with it two times just by discarding 1 measly card from your hand! Trust me, If you love dragons, You definitely have to get some of LOD!

                    Great!
Madden '04 is great! The franchise mode with the owner mode part is cool. Set your ticket price, food, etc. This is great for the people that really like the aspects of managing a real team. Even move it to Alaska! Bad part is that u could get a carrer ending injury to a player like Culpepper. It's optional though. You kinda get tired with Madden's repeated commentary. One problem is that Rookie is too easy, but the next level is hard. Play maker control is GREAT! YOu get points for achievements, which eventually lead up to cool cheats. Couple of lineup issues, but this game is great. Excellent graphics of stadiums,

                    Madden 2004: A legacy
The next Instalment in the Madden series is here with Madden 2004. But what new features are added to make us pay out our hard earned money?

New Playmaker Control: Make pre-snap adjustments to your receiver routes, direct receiver routes during a scramble, direct blocking down field during a run, or read and react to the offense to deliver a crushing tackle.

New Owner Mode: Hire your own staff, set your team's ticket prices, build your own stadium, reward key players with signing bonuses and boost player attributes in Mini-Camp drills.

All-New Game Presentation: Keep your players on the field during the play-calling screen. Watch all the highlights in split-screen replay and revel in new player accuracy details like dreadlocks, tattoo replicas, and four new helmet styles.

Most Realistic NFL Playbooks Ever: Tons of new trick plays, multiple formation variations, and the deepest NFL playbooks from all 32 officially licensed Coaches Club Head Coaches.

New Animations and Enhancements: New QB scramble transitions to improve throwing on the run, stumbles, open field blocks, whirlwind defensive reaction moves, sideline wrap tackles, and out of bound pushes.

Do yourself a favour and pick up Madden 2004. It'll be worth the money!

                    its madden, what u expect
ok first of all i actually own this game. Most these reviews are from people who dont even have this game yet. First thing to understand when buying this game is that its Madden.... its what you expect from Madden. The camera angle, controls, game play, and graphics for the most part are the same as last year and the year before. But thats not a bad thing. Madden has become the ultimate football video game and I dont think those area need changes. As long as we got updates rosters, the rookies, and a few new features Im happy. So here is the overall review... the gameplay and controls are prettymuch the same. Dont expect anything new in this department. The main changes come in the owner mode. The first change is this time when signing players you can give out signing bonuses. This is nice cuz you can lower your players salary and increase his bonus to benefit yourself. Also, players will renogotiate contracts to save you money to allow you to keep other players. The bad part is it is considered a "holdout" but they will sometimes agree to less money than they orignally made. Also after the end of your first season you can sign coaches and coodinators... pretty cool,, other teams will even try to hire your coodinators on as their head coaches if you do good enough. The main new feature is you can set your ticket prices, concession prices, advertising and all the junk a real GM/owner does. the better your team does the more tickets you sell but when you riase prices too high it lowers sales its pretty cool, fun to play with. after a few seasons if you have the money you can build a new stadium and customize it yourself, renovate an existing stadium or move cities. Ok, another new feature is you can do "training camp" before every pre season... this involves about 10 drills. you can pick one player to do each drill and if they do it well enough you get to add points on to their attributes. This is awesome cuz you can takerookies you just drafted and earn them points and get them ready for the season. Or you can take younger 2nd and 3rd year guys and boost their ratings since you just lost one of your starting vets to free agency and you need the young kid to step up and start the next season. its pretty sweet.

ok so all in all if you are expecint huge changes to the gameplay you wont like it. Madden has become classic and as the phrase goes "dont fix it unless its broke" Madden is a classi game series and they didnt try to "fix" gameplay controls or graphics cuz there was nothing wrong with it in the first place. When you buy this game you have no need to even read the instructions cuz the same buttons do the same things as every year,,, but thats not a bad thing cuz the game kicks A$$ every year. The changes are updated rosters, and the things i mentioned above which really only effect the owner mode. If you are someone who just buys the game the play friends in and mess around with then you arent gettin anything new. If you are like me and go DEEP into owner mode (in 2003 madden i played like 12 seasons deep) then youll love the new features. its a great game

                    WWE: Smackdown! Just Bring It!
                    Made by THQ

As the style of professional wrestling on TV has changed, so have the video games. Gone are the days of simple bouts between two men in tights. Wrestling is now a violent soap opera full of plot twists, romance, and intrigue. WWF Smackdown! Just Bring It accordingly contains as much story as it does action. The game features more than 40 WWF wrestlers who participate in 70 types of matches. Superstars like "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, The Rock, and Kurt Angle are joined by characters like Stephanie McMahon, Fred Durst, and Tajiri. Special matches include Falls Count Anywhere, Royal Rumble, Last Man Standing, and TLC (Tables, Ladders, Chairs). Plus there are plenty of secret wrestlers, rings, and matches that can be unlocked, adding to the replay value.

Gamers familiar with the controls of the Smackdown series will feel right at home. The game plays largely the same, with some additional moves and finishers. While having familiar and responsive controls is definitely a good thing, the graphics should not be too familiar on a next-generation system. Unfortunately, the game's character models haven't progressed much from the PlayStation version. However, the improvements in animations and ring entrances are fantastic.

The biggest flaw in the game is the commentary by Tazz and Michael Cole. There are several instances in which the commentary is disjointed and unnatural, and it often fluctuates severely in volume. This is a shame, as the announcers are a big part of pro wrestling's storytelling. Despite this problem, WWF Smackdown! Just Bring It packs more than enough quality gameplay and variety to thrill any WWF fan. --Raymond M. Padilla

                      Pros:

                      • Classic gameplay with some nice refinements
                      • Lots of features to unlock
                      • Great multiplayer fun
                      Cons:
                      • Disjointed commentary is distracting and annoying
                      • Story mode is limited
                      • Unimpressive character models

If you want the best wrestling game(or 1 of the best game ever)get SMACKDOWN HERE COMES THE PAIN.

This is good nowadays and it beats the other wrestling games on the Gamecube and Xbox.

                      Smackdown! Just Bring It Review..
I managed to be one of the few that got a demo of Smackdown! 3 and I must say I was very impressed, despite a few glitches. The wrestlers move more fluently, able to do more reversal, and you can beat the (stuffing) out of the ref! (Especially nice for all you Bret Hart fans). This is almost as close to WWF as any games have gotten! You can leave the ring and fight up on the stage, or in the crowd (Although the crowd is 2 dimensional). You can get two Smackdown moves for people like Angle and Rock, the music now is more authentic (With Limp Bizkit Undertaker song in it FINALLY!), and the graphics are very sharp and clear. There are a lot more options of fighting (Such as Tag Team TLC match), and I can't wait to do the Roaming Mode, where you can seek out Earl Hebner and take on the Hardcore Champion anytime during the game. Definitely not perfect (WWF Raw for XBox looks better)and it had some noticable glitches but Smackdown! Just Bring it is a LOT of fun, possibly the BEST wrestling game ever (But no Rob Van Dam).

                      This will be a must-buy.
Normally, I don't chime in prior to a game actually finding its way into my hands, but I have to say, WWF SmackDown: Just Bring It! for PS2 will be a must-buy game when it debuts in October (assuming THQ doesn't push it back...) THQ's official site, ... gives you a good idea of what this game will be like - incredibly lifelike character models, perfected "TV" graphics (the "RAW" chyron, etc.), damn near PERFECT entrance sets (that is, until the WWF went and changed SmackDown! to the "giant fist o' doom" set 3 weeks ago), and above all, smooth, fluid character movements. It's hard to say right now, but the previous 2 incarnations of the game have had excellent control and collision detection, so look for those to improve as well. (A friend of mine played a demo of SD:JBI at an anime convention in Baltimore last month, and he was absolutely floored.)
Truth be told, this is the game I have been waiting for (even more so than GT3) since I purchased my PS2 last November. As it stands, I don't think I'm going to be disappointed.
(I've added a five-star rating just based on the preview material, but truth be told, I didn't want to - I don't want to skew any potential average later on. Also, how can you rate a game that no one owns yet?)
