Tot Sports Golf Set

Move over, Tiger Woods! Get your tyke into the swing of things with the Easy Hit Golf Set. The rolling cart holds two clubs (a putter and a driver) and three oversize golf balls. The set comes with its own all-surface "hole," allowing for easy play anywhere. All components are made of durable heavy-duty plastic, ensuring that this set will stand up to your little pro's heavy hitting. Some assembly is required. --Alison Golder

Awesome toy - extremely durable for boys!Okay, if you have a boy, grab this set. Little Tikes must know how strong little guys get and make their products accordingly. Our neighbor decided that my son needed to learn how to play golf so I had to get him this set. It is so much better than my neighbor's daughter's set and 10 times more durable. She has a generic one but I opted for Little Tikes because I know how rough my guy can be. He has so much fun with this set and we even bought him a package of tees so he can golf like a pro. He really enjoys it and has even learned a great swing at three!

Megan's MomI purchased this Golf Set for my daughter at least 18 months ago & can't complain one bit about it. It has been played with very frequently but still looks new. Every child (& some adults) that come over play with it (b/c she's always handing someone one of the clubs hehe) and it makes everyone happy. It is a very durable toy but I also see it as a way to teach good sportsmanship & sharing skills.
Fun for little onesMy daughter was given this golf set when she was 3. We've had it for 4 years, and it is still one of the favorites in the house. It has lasted much use & abuse, and looks as good as when we got it. The storage of the "holes" is very useful, but requires adult "assembly" to replace them on the carrier after play. We still have all the parts. From our experience, this toy is exciting for kids from 2 years to 7 years. At 7, they would rather use "real" clubs & play real golf. It is a GREAT indoor game for year-round!

Goofy gophers Chip, Birdie, and Spike stand in the way of a hole-in-one on the mini green that is Silly Golf. Set up the tiny electronic golfing green and try to get your ball into the cup, while the gophers chatter away. If you hit a gopher he'll sink back into his hole and keep on chattering. The plastic putters have score markers on them so you can keep track of your game. The critters are pretty cute and the game was easy enough for 3- to 6-year-olds to play without getting frustrated (can't promise the constant chattering won't frustrate any adults nearby), but we were disappointed that the putters are obviously made for right-handers. Our left-hander didn't have a problem using the putter, which is only molded on the right-handed side, but it would have been so easy for the manufacturer to make both sides smooth for putting. Requires three C batteries (not included). --M. Sullivan

DONT BUY ITMy sons 2 and 4 played with this toy for about 10 minutes after setting it up. We all hated the way it fell apart when moved, and the balls didnt always go where they were supposed to. When in storage, you need to take out the batteries for the thing to shut up, otherwise you hear it in the closet in the middle of the night. My husband said he turned the switch off, but it was faulty. The boys had more fun hitting each other with the clubs, than trying to sink the balls. My recommendation....dont buy it. Ours found a permanent placement in the garbage.

What a (frustrating) dud!!My daughter received this toy for Christmas a year ago. She has tried to play it many times with us and with her friends. It always looks so fun on the box. The problems with this toy are multiple. First, it comes in four pieces-which will NOT stay together long enough to play the game. It is a frustrating game because it is so hard to score anything! Now, I've had kids from 4 to 43 try this thing and it is tough!! The gopher which pops up broke shortly after arrival and it no longer pops up. (I guess we should be glad that it didn't get stuck in the up position!) To top it all off, getting the pieces back into the original packaging ain't no easy feat either! I would save my money and stick with the Silly Bowling game. It is a lot more fun and a lot more durable.

Definitely not the greatestWe received this as a gift for my son's 1st birthday. At first I thought it would be cool since it has multiple sports, but unfortunately we've found it to be pretty worthless. The only thing my son had fun with for a while was putting balls - and other things - in the basketball hoop. If we ever can't find something, we can usually look in there and it's wedged in halfway down. The design of the spinning balls isn't done very well since by the time a child is old enough to have the dexterity to do it, s/he is probably too tall for the baseball and the golf ball one isn't close enough to the ground. Basically, all the bat and golf club seem to be good for are hitting things that aren't supposed to be hit. We've had this for 5 months now and I wish we had returned it and got something else.

Confussing toyAt first my 11 month old liked it. He was curious and wanted to see how it worked. However after the first few minuted he was very bored of it. I believe it is to old for younger toddlers. Seeing how my 11 month old did not like it, I thought my 2 year old would. Wrong! All he did was get in trouble for hitting things in the house with the bat. The place that you are suppossed to hit the ball does not work well. As well as the golfing part of it. You hit the ball and it barely moves (and my 2 year old has a pretty good arm). We had the toy out for 2 days and it got put away!

My daughter loves this toy!My 12 month old daughter received this as an early Christmas gift and loves it! She plays with it almost every day. I have the bat put up for now- I don't think she's ready for that part yet, but I think this toy will grow nicely with her. She loves to make baskets and spin the golf ball and baseball around the base. I think it's kept her interest well compared to a lot of toys. I would definitely recommend it!

Pretty set to look at, hard to use.My son is 19 months old. He had a "cheap" set of clubs that he could swing well and he connected with the ball every time, like a little pro. But this "cheap" set fell apart so we thought we would get a better, more expensive set because he plays golf practically all day. We got this set and have quickly discovered that he has a difficult time using the set. The clubs are too heavy and the rubber on the ends of them skid against the floor making it difficult for him to swing properly to connect with the ball. Not the best set. Pretty, but not functional. Now we are going to have to spend more money to buy a new set so he can continue to improve his game.

20 month old son Loves itSimply put - my son loves this toy even at 20 months old. My golf nut husband thinks this is great. He can actually swing the club and occassionally hit the ball. I am sure he'll be at the driving range this summer! Watch out Tiger!
