The good news for you is that the weight of this item has been corrected in the on-line ad since I purchased one for my five year-old son. That means: 1) you won't incorrectly assume as I did that the bag is suitable for outdoor summer or indoor winter use and 2) your per-pound shipping cost will not be comparable to the cost of the bag itself as mine was.

The bad news for you is that durability is a gamble. One of the zippers on our Spider-man head carrying case was broken upon arrival and the zipper pull broke off the sleeping bag itself a very short time later. And while the product is still functional and my son generally seems to like it, he doesn't use it nearly as much as I thought he would.

I wouldn't recommend buying this product unless you are specifically looking for an indoor slumber bag (a more accurate description), have a child who adores Spider-man and have already determined that the stores in your area do not carry a comparable item.

My son is 6 years old and I set it up for him and it worked great!!!! He kept it up for about 1 month and it never fell over. I just took it down yesterday because he was hiding dirty clothes in it but other then that I have no complaints!!! I would definately recommend it.

I do not like this toy. It doesn't stay on the bed at all.. It is suppoe to stay on like a sheet and won't stay on the bed, the tent is always falling on the floor..

I ordered this tent, for my special needs daughter because it had the zippers on the bottom and between with the additional mesh and the ability to totally close her in by lowering the flaps. Well......the picture is beautiful and exactly what I need for her but the actual product is NOTHING like the picture. There are no elastic straps to hold it on the bed (just a nylon sheet like thing barely thick enough to stay on a regular bunk bed thick mattress, no zippers all around the side, no extra mesh with the fold down flaps, and no side windows as pictured - just a rectangle toward the top is all. It does not appear to be as durable either as the other bed tents we have purchased from Target in the past - all 5 of my kids love them and this is the first one that hasn't been as pictured. I love Target so I am returning this tent and I will reorder one of the other ones because my kids really love having them to sleep in at night!

My son got this case for his 2nd birthday along with the Figure 8 trian set.He loves it and is so funny trying to carry it around the house.I think it is a great way to carry and store the trian set.I dont know what we would do w/o it.I dont know just how durable it will be because it is still new.I do know that we liked it so much that we recommended it for a gift to another 2 year old and he loves it as well.Basically it has been a big hit all around!!!

My son received this bag for Christmas 2001, it is very poor quality. It is not durable, the straps tore loose from the bag with in just a few months. If your child is anything like mine, Thomas goes everywhere he goes. This bag cannot handle the wear and tear. If your looking for something to carry your train set in you need to look further.

This carry bag, although functional, could definitely stand some improvements. My 2-year old adores his wooden trains and requires us to bring them along wherever we go. My biggest beef with the product is the lack of dividers or any type of organization. Inside, there are a few pockets suitable for holding a few engines/cars, but otherwise the bag is just a flimsy, rectangular piece of plastic. It's great for just throwing some wooden track into and getting on your way, but it would be better if there were separate compartments for curved & straight track and maybe an accessory or two. I gave it three stars across the board, but we have not had it for very long so I cannot vouch for the product's durability.
BOTTOM LINE: If you've got to have a Thomas bag for your trains & track that travel, this is about your only option. But I'd recommend you save your [money] and throw them in a small duffel.

As soon as my kid sat down in the chair it cracked and the chair fell to the ground. My kid skinned his knees and he was very mad. I will never buy anything from hot wheels again...

I thought I can put the sand toys inside the bag (by folding the chair). It turned out not to be true. The chair doesn't have a zipper (or such) to close the side openings, so it does not function as a bag. Instead, you put the toys in the mesh pocket stitched on the back. Indeed, the actual package says Beach Chair and Mat Set, not Beach Chair and "Carry Bag". I wish the item's description here was more clear about that. I feel deceived.

I thought this is a backpack where my son can carry something. but instead it is like a pillow. He was very disappointed. I had to return it.

This product is misleading. I purchased it as a backpack for my granddaughter to take to kindergarten to carry her papers and supplies. It does not open. It is a pillow, not a backpack container for school supplies

It's a stuffed backpack and you can't put anything in it! I was very disappointed that the discription did not state that and I'm returning it.

We bought the bop bag for our 3 1/2 year old. It seemed better than the other bop bags because when it was bopped it made power ranger noises.Well, we filled it with water and blew it up. The water leaked, and it stayed inflated for about 5 hours. So I took it to our local toys r us store and exchanged it for another. We didn't bother to put water in it, we just inflated it and waited to see how long it took to deflate. It took all of an hour. Our son was totally disappointed. I hope someone lets this manufacturer know.

My 6 yr old was so happy to get this toy, but when I got it home, and put water in the bottom part to give it weight, the water leaked, no matter how tight you turned the cap. After using sand in place of water, I blew up the bop bag, but the air only lasted about 5 mns, it leaked badly. I plan on finding the manufacturer of this item and giving them heck about it. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

I was not impressed at all with this slumber bag. The outside feels like a stiff plastic. It is not something I want my child sleeping in. I am going to take it back to the store and exchange it for a different slumber bag.

The outer "fabric" of this bag is a very plastic, almost vinyl material, which is very stiff. The inside is a scratchy polyester. I returned this item and do not recommend it.
