I got this as a shower gift and my son loves it. I have it hanging over his changing pad, and we change it from the sun to the moon at night and back in the morning. He's 4 months old now and he loves to coo and squeal at it. And he gets really excited when he can grab it and put it in his mouth! Yummy.

Celeste is the BEST!! My son absolutely loves this toy! We take it everywhere that we go. My son is very particular about toys. To this point, he hasn't cared for much of anything that I have bought for him. Then one day I was shopping for something else and picked this up and gave it to him. He immediately held on and put it in his mouth. When I tried to take it away to pay for it, he cried. Right now he is 5 1/2 months old and we have had Celeste for about 6 weeks. My son loves to hold on to the black and white tentacles and put the toys in his mouth. He much prefers the sunshine side to the moon/stars side. The toy is very soft and plush and Jameson loves to just pet it with his hands. He also likes the little handle loop at the top bacause it makes a crinkly noise. I recommend this toy because it is very soft and extremely well-made. It doesn't have that harsh sort of cheap feel that so many other soft baby toys have. The face is very inviting and has so many places and textures for a baby to grab onto. Although I have yet to wash it this way, it looks as if it would easily wash in the washing machine.

I was given this gift at a baby shower. My daughter has loved this toy from birth. When she was a newborn, we would hang this toy from a shelf by her changing table so she could look at it and learn to reach. My daughter is now 8 months old and she still loves it! We will hook it around the handle of her car seat and it acts as a mobile. Now that she is teething, she loves to chew on the yellow star. This is a great all around toy that encourages the child to reach out and bat and grasp. My daughter has not tired of exploring or playing with it. Highly recommended!

This toy has stopped working twice in the three months we have had it, however, my one year old just loves it, so we will most likely buy another to replace it.

Although she loves it and loves to sing along with it. I am not sure how long it will withstand her play with it. It's head moves side to side and she tries to hold it still. It is however very nice to hold, soft and easy to clean.

This was a Christmas present for my 4 year old daughter. She has not been able to put it down. She takes it everywhere, even to bed. She loves singing along with it and even reciting the spoken words. And this bear has been through so much physically and is still in great working order. Out of all of her Christmas presents, this is the only one she plays with consistently. She loves it so much, she now wants a glow in the dark one for her Birthday. I purchased it at Amazon Toys R Us for a great price, and I needed it pronto and got it in 2 days (2 days before Christmas). I am pleased with the toy and the service. I'm glad these cute bears have made it back into circulation.

ok well, i bought it, and i dunno but it got stuck ON, and wouldnt stop, so i was forced to take action, trust me 2 minutes with this thing and the song is ANNOYING, anyways i throw it out the window, it didnt break, it didnt stop! again action was need, i rasied a hammer in the air.... The first time I was introduced to the toy wa swhen I worked in retail and happened to stumble upon it on a day I needed some cheering up and the adorable little toy certainly helped! I always made an attempt to venture down to the toy department when I needed to smile and eventually bought the critter when I left my job. It's been months, now, and I still laugh everytime I set my Deedle Dude off!

My 18 month old daughter received the deedle dude cat as a Christmas gift. She loves it! She loves to try and get the cat to dance by clapping (although she doesn't clap loud enough) or simply by touching his head. Not many things get her to dance but this toy does! I don't find the tune at all annoying, in fact, I find myself bopping along with it. Very durable toy as well. This cat gets hugged and thrown around a lot! Great toy to buy for a child that needs some encouragement to just act silly once in a while!

The little boy I nanny for just LOVES his puppy!! He actually has 2 of them and has gone through about 4 or 5 of them and he's only 2 1/2 years old! He lost both his puppies a couple weeks ago and he just hasn't been the same kid without them! I'm glad I finally found them so we can order him a new one (or a couple!) and get this kid back to being himself again!!

My son got one of these dogs when he was only three months old. He is now almost three and hasn't let it out of his sight yet. Although our dog chewed off an ear and a paw, the remainder of the stuffed animal is holding up very nicely.

I love this puppy! I bought it for my son when he was born. He is now 3 and still loves his "first puppy". This is small enough for an infant and very soft. I have washed it AND dryed it my washer/dryer, and it holds up great. Great gift idea for new and expecting parents!

My husband and I bought Sing Me to Sleep Pooh before our son was born. This is all he needed in the crib to fall asleep. If he woke in the middle of night he would hit the pillow on pooh and when the first song was done he was fast asleep and so was I! He will be three next month and carries him everywhere pretty much. The babysitter has sown piglet back to pooh a million times. We are going to purchase another one for his birthday. The first one was loved to death and it shows. I have given this as baby shower gifts and all the mothers loved it too.

I love this wonderful pooh and piglet bedtime soother. My son got this for Christmas when he was 5 months old. He loves it and so do I. He really enjoys chewing on piglet's little ears since he is now teething. The remote is wonderful so you don't have to go back into the room and worry about the baby seeing you. It's so relaxing I even love to listen to it. We took it on a long 15 hour trip and it was a lifesaver. Anytime our son got fussy we would just put it on and I could start it up again from the front seat using the remote without having to reach back and get the toy! Once we were at our destination we thought our son would have a hard time sleeping since he was not at home in his crib but having Pooh made him feel like he was home and he would drift off to sleep every time! I highly recommend this to everyone and plan on buying one for my sister who has a hard time getting her baby to sleep. This toy is worth every penny. One last note, I read another review that said this toy goes through batteries quickly but in all honesty we have not had that problem. We use it constantly and have only changed the batteries once since Christmas and even if we had to change them more often, I wouldn't complain because it's so worth it!

My five-month-old daughter received this as a Christmas gift, and it has been WONDERFUL. She has always been fairly easy to put to bed, but now it is a breeze with Pooh. Instead of fumbling for an on/off switch, you just tap the pillow to turn it on (which she has done herself inadvertantly while fussing in the middle of the night and subsequently gotten herself calmed down without my getting up). Pooh then sings a sweet lullaby and a soft night light comes on. Next, several songs without words follow, and every couple songs the night light dims gradually until it finally goes out. At that point, there are soft nature sounds accompanied by one or two more songs before it turns itself off. And the remote lets you start from whichever point you like, with Pooh singing plus the light, with the songs and light but no singing, or the nature sounds and music with no light. It is just an absolutely adorable toy, and my two older children love to hear Pooh singing, also. As far as the "hard, plastic pillow" mentioned in another review, this has not been a problem at all. The pillow is covered adequately with a soft filling and cotton cover and I do not see how it could hurt her. She has even reached over and grabbed Pooh and brought the whole thing over onto her mouth to chew on, and it hasn't hurt her yet. I love this toy and I really think these lullabies will be something she equates with soothing, pleasant bedtimes for years to come.
