This is a very cute idea and so cute with the night light and all but you would think that being a night time toy, that it would have a volume control or play the lulluby softly. It is really very loud, my daughter has to put it under the covers so it will not wake up her brother in his crib across the hall.

The light can be hung on the wall or it can just be loose. My son enjoys having his by his bed. Because we have a care Bear theme in the kids' room, this works great.

The bear lights up on his belly and says 'hug me and I'll sing a song' or something like that. When you hug him again, he sings a sweet little song.

I don't find that this is easily set off, so it doesn't wake our child up at night when he rolls around. It is also not that loud so if he wakes up at night and plays it, it doesn't wake everyone up. It is cute. I can't say that it is really educational but not all toys have to be educational.

Bedtime Bear with a light up tummy gives a sense of security and well being to a toddler trying to settle down to sleep. The lullaby is soothing and lets the child know he is not alone. My 3-yr old adores this toy.

I bought this for our son before he was born. It is soooo soft and cuddly! The chenille fabric is very soft.I'd highly recommend it!

I bought this bear for my Great Niece who has slept with it in her crib since she first opened it. It's a wonderful gift for a new baby getting close to one year old. It becomes their best friend and keeps them occupied for long periods of time. Could'nt have gotten a better gift for the money.

This bear is great. It's a little large for a baby but it's incredably soft. I've never felt a stuffed animal even close to this. You'll be amazed every time you pick it up.

I purchased the Care Bear hard-back books about 20 years ago for my niece. They were handed down to my daughter, she read them when she was learning to read and they sat in her bookcase for 10 years. She has 'remodeled' her room and has packed all her books up EXCEPT for the Care Bear books. She will be 13 this month. She LOVES the Care Bears and drools over anything Care Bear when we go to the store. I'm purchasing this one for her upcoming birthday. It doesn't matter how old someone is, all that matters is they have a passion. As for the 5 year old girl who tossed it aside and said it was for babies, remember all kids go through an, "I'm all grown up now, I'm not a baby anymore" stage. Have to attribute her tossing it aside to that. Chances are she'll pick the bear up within 6 months and and it just might become her favorite 'toy'.

I am compelled to write a rebuttal to the reviewer who said this toy is only for very young children. My six-year-old daughter is creative and active, and she loooooves care bears. So do many of her six- and seven-year-old friends. Care bears are a reasonably priced collectable item, and many elementary age kids are into collecting things.

i got this for my sixteen year old daughter n she loves it!! its not for lil kids its for older kids i think!! its the "punk" style so yeah any bodys kids that are "punk" would love this!!

We bought this for our son's first Christmas - at which he was 11 months old. He snuggles with Bear in his crib and while we watch Bear on Disney. He loves to watch Bear and we all love to read Bear's books.

When you press Bear's left ear he says cute phrases like, "How about a nice bear hug." and "Great bear hug." and "I smell a friend."

This Bear is very cute. But, the description makes it sound like Bear talks when you hug him (although admitedly it does not actually say that). Bear actually talks when you squeeze his ear. I ordered this for our son's first birthday so squeezing the ear isn't as easy for him as hugging Bear. I'm still happy with him, I just wish I had known before ordering and thought someone else might want to know, too.

This bear is just as cute as can be. Sounds like Bear on TV. Says familiar sayings you hear on TV show. Really cuddly. Very soft fur. Would recommend to anyone especially if your kids watch Bear in the Big Blue House. My 9mo. old grandson is getting it for Christmas so I don't know how well it will hold up but looks very well made.

My daughter received this as a present when she was born. As an infant, it was used mostly as decoration and as a play area barrier for her before she could crawl over it. Now that she is 4, she loves "riding" on it, making it make noises, and wrapping herself up in it. It sits on the floor of her room, and it looks great. My two year old loves it too. He talks about its colors and loves climbing all over it. My children have a lot of toys and this one guarantees the giggles.

The Catapillar is cute, and goes cute in his room which is bug themed. But it's size in impratical for him to play with at such a young age. But, it's cool anyway.

My son received one of the little ones and he loved the thing so much that I had to replace it twice. The crinkles are exciting for baby and when they learn how to make it squeek it is so fun. I would expect this huge one to be fun for the entire family or for families with several children.

My 2 1/2 year old son received this as a Christmas present and played with it for about a day. Now it just sits in his room and collects dust. It just isn't a toy that you can sit and play with for hours at a time. He honestly hasn't even looked its way since the day he opened it. I wouldn't waste my money!

With the success of the movie BROTHER BEAR, toys were inevitable, and welcomed with open arms by all fans. Tumble N Laugh Koda is an adorable stuffed animal for everyone. He sits up, and when you squeeze his hand, he kicks his feet, and falls over laughing. You can also tickle his tummy, and not only will he laugh, but Koda will also kick his feet. He says many different phrases, including "Hey, that's my ticklish spot!" and "I'm one funny cub. Everybody says so!"

Tumble N Laugh Koda is the perfect gift for any child between the ages of 3-10 years of age. Children will want to laugh with him, and at him, as he repeats many funny phrases, and parent's will relish in the length of time that Koda will keep their kids occupied. A must-have gift for anytime of the year.

My daughter is never without "Wuffie". She recieved this gift at birth and even after two years, it is her favorite. I have purchased several more to have in case we lose this one and she carries them all around. People have given her other dogs, but she still loves "Wuffies" the best. They wash easy also-thank goodness!! This has become my official baby gift to everyone.

My daughter has loved this toy since she first set eyes on it! She's had it ever since she was 5 months old and goes everywhere with it. It's still her favorite at one year old. She's a thumb sucker and likes to hold the ears or tail while sucking her thumb. She also does this while nursing! It's very soft and cushy and cleans up great in the washer. I highly recommend this doggie!

every kid has their favorite plush; this is my youngest daughter's choice. in fact, i'm ordering another one (maybe two) to replace the one we lost recently. love at first sight for my 16 mo. old. a great huggy animal friend...no real learning value, but who cares? some toys are just that--toys.

My mother bought this toy for my son when he was about 6 months old. He never took to it. It had been sitting in the bottom of his toy chest for 6 months. We took it out about a month ago and he seems to love it now. He drags it around and presses the ear to hear the messages on his own. He laughs when it speaks. It's good for a few minutes of entertainment here and there. I think a child has to be at least 10 or 11 months old to appreciate it.

Hi, my name is Brittany and I am 16 years old.I recently recieved an Geoffrey the Giraffe for Christmas and it is my favorite stuffed animal.I sleep with it at night and I constantly listen to the sayings.My favorite is the "I don*t want to grow up, I*m a Toys-R-Us Kidd.." it is truly my favorite thing to sing. One of my older friends who is 19,he enjoys it to so I would say that this toy is for more than 10 years of age.

It is a fun toy with great quality. The sound is clear and you can tell who it is. I don't know how educational it would be to one with little to no education(those in elementary school and below) but it's definitly not educational to those above that. Funny, yes very, with the quick catchy phrases that will leave you rolling on the floor laughing for hours. It is worth the buy and even more worth it if you get it free when you purchase other stuffed animals.

We bought my daughter this stuffed animal over a year ago, when she became obsessed with cats, and she loves it. She usually sleeps with it, (as well as a few other dolls and animals), and it is soft and furry. We found it to be well constructed, the eyes are securely sewn in, and all the pieces are well put together. It even washes well, and "Callie" has been in the machine a few times.

I personally own a Ty Beanie Buddy Calico kitten (Makers of Beanie Babies) that looks almost identical to this Animal Alley 9" one.. only mine was more expensive. Next time I want to buy a plush for myself, or someone else, I'll be sure to check Animal Alley's collection before I waste ten dollars.

I have never been disappointed with an Animal Alley toy, and this is no exception. This is an adorable, very soft kitten toy. This is a great value -- affordable, durable, cute and lots of fun!

I grew up watching care bears in the 80's and was trilled when they came out with the new plush toys. My sister go me the Champ Bear plush toy with video for my birthday and I thought it didn't look right. When I was watching teh video I realized why. The actually Champ Bear is a tan color not blue. I was slightly disapointed.

My daughter has pretty much ALL the Care Bears, and Champ just arrived from Santa. She is loving Champ (I love his color!). But the video that came with him is the BEST!!! Since Christmas morning has nonstop requested it. Has an exercise show segment in the video and all she does is just do the exercises with the Care Bears. Super cute!!! From all the Care Bears we have, there are only maybe 2 or 3 videos she's showed any interest in. But this one, super! Very cute bear, cute for girl and is a great bear for a boy too. Just gave one to my 7 year old nephew who is a big Care Bear fan (when his school friends aren't around to know about it!) and he was happy to have a boyish bear with the trophy on the tummy.

My two-year-old son's name is Champ and he loves sports, so we were thrilled to be able to purchase a Champ Bear for his birthday. He loves the bear and the video, which is actually a Care Bears' workout video. What parent wouldn't love a cartoon that gets their children exercising?! The stuffed Champ Bear is blue, although the Champ Bear in the cartoons is a goldish color. This really bothered my 4-year-old daughter, but I assume the manufacturers believed boys would be more likely to carry around a blue bear. I suppose blue is just more masculine. Great toy regardless of color!!!
