Great Ride On!
What a fantastic toy!!
Neat little train
Based on the award-winning Shining Time Station television series, the Thomas the Tank Engine train system fulfills all of a child's train-set dreams. Each 2-inch-high, wooden vehicle has black plastic wheels and a different name, character, and face, and there are magnetic bumpers at the ends for easy link-up. Your child will delight in making the pieces interact during imaginary play and will learn social skills playing train with friends. Designed to keep pace with your child's development, this toy encourages the use of new motor and cognitive skills. Other track pieces and accessories are available. --Sandy Hirsch

As you progress in the game, you can customize and upgrade your equipment. In champion mode, you will have to finish a level with a good enough destroy rate before you will be allowed to advance. This game also includes a replay mode, which will allow you to leisurely view highlights of your most intense battles.
While this game may be pretty to look at, the controls can be difficult to master. You'll definitely need to check out the training zones in order to properly learn how to navigate your hunk of junk metal. We became dizzy from the rotating 3-D and 360-degree environments, which can make your control seem more complicated during a busy barrage of enemy fire from all directions. --Carrie Bell
Pros:
- Interesting plot
- Detailed spaceships and explosions
- Full 3-D, 360-degree rotating action
Cons:
- Shooting action can get repetitious
- May cause dizziness

Great game, but not much replay value.
Highly playable shooter balancing looks and mechanics. If anything, I might have wished there would be a little more diversity in terms of weapons, levels, missions and some kind of a story. Imagine the customizeability of Armored Core coupled with the furious action and beautiful graphics of this game! However, that didn't seem to be the intention of the designers. As an old-fashioned "blow-everything-up" shooter, Omega Boost ranks among the best there is to offer.
blow stuff up in outer spaceThis game has it all. The story is pretty decent. I won't spoil it here. The graphics are gorgeous. Absoloutly incredable, just be sure that when you play this game for the first time, you play it with no one else around, lest someone accidently step on your jaw when it falls to the floor. The music is very cool too. The intro music rocks big time and the in game stuff is funky. The game itself is just a brainless shoot em up. Like R-type on steroids. and a hundread times more fun. All this stuff combines to give you a great fun game that anyone can play and enjoy.
Give it shot. You'll be glad you did

Pros:
Easy but not too-easy puzzles.
Pieces fit well together.
Nice pictures.
Sturdy container.
Each puzzle has a different shape printed on the back to make sorting the puzzles easier.
Super durable. I did not realize just how durable they were until I found a piece in my dishwasher. Even after being washed the picture was fine and the wood in perfect condition.
Cons:
It may take a few moments to figure out how to fit an entire puzzle's pieces in a single compartment.
Lid does not lock closed.
My kids love these and you will too.
Hours of fun

My primary problem with the train though is that my child has fallen off of it 3 times. Now to ride it I have to stand in the middle of the track and spin around and around with him to spot him (i.e catch him or prevent him from falling). If he leans SLIGHTLY to the outside, (like turning to see his mom) the train de-rails or falls off the track side ways on to him.
I don't know how all the others had such positive experiences. My hope is my son will gain skill in keping the train on the track and will find it interesting, but any kid that comes to visit, we will have to 'spot'. I guess the educational value of this train for my son is learning to balance on a badly designed moving toy that has a narrow base and has a constantly shifting center of gravity (due to turning on track).
Bottom line - my kid prefers the $6 mega-blocks truck he got to this (...)train.
