This version for the PlayStation does not come close to the Nintendo 64 version. The game lacks the quick agility and smooth operation of the Nintendo 64 version. This PlayStation version should never have been released to the public. 3DO has a lot to answer for ever releasing this poor quality of a game.

I just wish that someone at 3DO would have tried this PlayStation version first before releasing it.

I give it a Rating of 1 Star (although it deserves a lot lower rating). If you love this type of game than the original console game "Pong" would be your speed.

First I played it at my friends house, and it was AWSOME. When I got it, I played it right away. IT is a good game you never can get sick of. I reduced a star for JUST SOME of the graphics. I rented the first battle tanx, and I recomend you don't get. It has cheap graphics, there were only like 3 tanx, and I couldn't even beat the first level. Battle Tanx Global Assault was a great improvement.

This game RULES on N64, because they're 4 players, here only 2. Not as much fun... If you want this game, get it on N64.

The Ace Figure is great if no other reson you should buy this toy is for this figure.
The push butten drop the bombs off the wings is kinda fun but is offset by the best place to hold onto this "jet" moves around.
It did make my 10 year old vary happy and had lots of fun with it.

CON's:
The Barrel Roll action/sound seam to me like one of thows good ideas bad way to do it type of things, would be better if you could lock the tail into place.
Its not bacied off a real jet like MOST of the GI Joe team Vehicles are.
The canopy seamed to pop off every time a new figure was placeed inside and locking hand to the controls

OFFHAND:
I really feel sorry for Ace, thows of you that remember he Started GI Joe in the Skystriker (F-14 that was build to scale) he could even bail out of it when thrown (kinda)
There are better 3 3/4 jet figters out there look up the power team F-18 (without reviewing it the PT jet is good the figures are junk, guess you cant have the best of both worlds)

While the barrel roll feature does kind of take away from the toy, this can be fixed with some ingenuity. The whol plane is a great addition to the G.I. Joe line with the cool design and excellent bomb dropping trigger. I myself took out the batteries. Another great thing about this toy is the figure Ace that comes with it. It is an excellent figure and this is a great toy.

this jet is one of the best small jets to come out. nothing really to brake unlike the x-14 windshild tabs that brake if your breath hits it the wrong way. the bomb drop is great but the little spin button on the back---- to far. come on hasbro u dont need stuff like that to sell G I Joes. most of us would have like it with out it. i fixed it with some glue and a nail but thats me. let the kids use there minds toys should be like a book not movie dont tell them what to do just let them do there own thing. thats why gi joe failed in the 90's to much spring loaded garbage and neon colors. but ace in this one is great it is a good 10 dollar toy

I purchased this Train Case for my son last Christmas, (age 6). It is very sturdy, with handle. I like that all the trains can be put into one place and carried away simply/easily. Those moms like myself, when your child has finished playing, there is now a place for them to put their trains in. The 'metal' case is a great added bonus, the trains have the magnetic ends and they easily go into case. Next play time, the trains are all in one spot. Thomas, come up with a place like this for the track - I need it !

My son received this as a gift. I love that the inside is set up like "shelves". My son loves to organize his trains in it. I don't like how thin the metal is. It dents as easy as a cola can. If it were made better, it would be worth the money. Save your money on this one and find something better made.

Well, now this carry case is a goner. The latch will no longer close and the top rim is hopelessly bent. It was fun while it lasted.

MY SON RECEIVED THIS FOR HIS FIRST BIRTHDAY AND HE LOVES IT. HE LOVES THE ENGINE AND THE FACT THAT THE TRAIN AND THE CHARACTERS TALK. IT IS A GOOD INTERACTIVE TOY. A DEFINITE WINNER WITH ALL THE KIDS WHO COME TO PLAY WITH HIM. HOWEVER THE TRACKS DONT ALIGN WELL AND THE TRAIN DOES VEER OFF THE TRACKS FREQUENTLY.

I think this toy is dangerous and should be recalled. It is entertaining and easy to assemble however the train is propelled by wheels that do not stop automatically if something gets caught in them. The manufacturer is aware of this - there is a warning embossed on the train stating that hair could become caught. This is an inadequate warning! First, since it is embossed rather than printed it is barely visible. I saw it only AFTER my son the skin of his hand caught there. My hand was also pinched when I examined the train, trying to figure out what had happened to him. In addition, the bottom edges of the pieces that form the carnival rides have some very sharp corners. I picked up one piece and it was so sharp I thought at first it must have been broken - it wasn't. The box states that adult assembly is required, however, the rides don't snap tightly to the base. After I put the set together, my children picked up the figures to play with them. If the figures are bumped they fall off A small child is sure to play with them and could easily be injured by one of these sharp edges. Finally, the toy is not only dangerous, it doesn't work very well. The wooden pieces that form the tracks for the train are warped and do not fit together well. The train gets stuck or veers off the track onto the floor - which means that a toddler is sure to pick up the train and risk having his hand pinched. I am very disappointed and will never feel comfortable having my boys play with this toy.

My son (23 months) received this toy for Christmas this year. We have it set up on a table. I did have some problems with it running on the carpet. The track needs to be on a hard surface so the track will line up right. My son loves this toy. We have had no problems with it yet except for the batteries are ran down because he has played with it so much! I do have to help him put the characters in some of the rides but he has pretty much learned how to do most of it himself. Being 2 he does like to take the planes off the ride and he tries to take some of the other pieces apart so I am constantly picking pieces off the floor! But I'm sure he will grow out of doing this. Overall I say it is a good toy. He loves the music also!

This toy has worked well for me even though I am disappointed about having to charge the battery for 4 hours to play with the toy for 20 minutes. The small propellers don't make the toy go very fast in the water and it moves slow, but it runs quicker on land.

This toy is very attractive and a great idea, but it doesn't deliver in the end.
1) The expensive battery pack which one must buy has to charge for 4 hours but gives only about 20 minutes of playtime before it must be charged again.
2) In our specific toy, if you pressed the "Land or Sea?" button at the wrong time OR for a few seconds too long, the lights for Land AND Sea went on at the SAME time, thus disabling the vehicle, and the only way you could get it to re-start was to plug it into the recharger again - which was frustrating when you were at the park!
3) It should transform from a land vehicle to a sea vehicle on a GENTLE slope into water, not a sheer drop from land into a pool or bath. So the bank of a creek is ideal, but not always readily available.
We're exchanging it for the Land/Air Radio Control and hoping that one is more functional.

it cost to much for this toy when it is not edecational and not durable

Apparently Peg Perego has many different 6 volt batterys for there ride on toys. I purchased this on for an older version of the train and it does not fit or have the correct connector. Now in trying to return the wrong battery I can get no assistance from Amazon.com. No one will answer my e-mails and there is no phone # listed anywhere to call customer service. Make sure this is the correct battery for the toy you have before purchasing it.

... Make sure to double check the color, size and voltage of the battery you're replacing or you'll end up eating the shipping cost of something you can't use. Try explaining it to a 4 year old.

Watch out! I was looking for a 6v battery for my Perego Jeep, but this is the wrong size. It was green in the pictures (mine is blue) and I thought it was just a newer version. If your battery is model no. HE6V12.7S10, this is not it.

Easy to set up, easy to operate. Great fun I baught this for my boy who loves it! Many MAny pieces to keep you occupied by.
Great set, I think I would buy a second set for myself.

My boy was sooooo excited to see this train - he is still playing with it without the power because it never worked. If you do not mind paying [$$$] for an electric train set that has no power, then go ahead and get a really cool looking train set.

This train set it great I got one the other day and set it up, its really easy to assemble and it really is fun to whatch. The is a good gift for any train lover.

The boat is fast and fun. My little brother always trys to take the remote control box from me! No Way

I bought this a month a ago then bought a mega -gator. They worked for two days. Then I returned them. Then I bought a T-maxx. I was more thilled with a 40+mph car than 2 corny boats.

My son got this tonka for christmas and it became one of his favorite toys. Thats until it broke! The rotating drill on ours broke right off. Now my 2 yr old hardly ever plays with it. They could have built the drill part better....oh well.

I found this on clearance for my son. I can't really see paying full price for it. Especially with the quality of most expensive toys these days. But I have to say, Tonka does seem to be continuing their legacy of well built toys. My son loves it (even though the drill sparking and grinding kinda scared him at first). He loves flipping the switch and watching it beep it's way down the hall all by itself. Him and his friends have even used it ouside to dig holes! I couldn't believe the little plastic drill was actually putting holes in the ground, but it was. It got all sorts of dirt in crevices even I couldn't reach, but it did eventually "air out" and it still runs great. For anyone with a child who loves construction trucks, I strongly recommend Tonka. They're one of the few companies still trying to keep a certain level of quality in their products.

Oh my god, i can't find the words to describe the "greatness" of this toy. My son is very picky and sort of destructive with all his toys. We could not find anything that he'd like for his birthday until we saw this toy. HE LOVES IT SOOOOO MUCH! i dont think he has put it down since his birthday in MARCH! He loves that he can push it around or use the motorized controls to watch it move and use all its construction tools. The lights and sounds are great as well, they complete the package. I RECOMMEND this toy for any child, they'll have a blast!

My son (3 yo) has had this for about 8 months now and still loves it. Whenever his friends come over to play, they all inevitably end up inside the toy and take other toys in to play with. It is fairly durable and has been fought over and pulled from room to room many times. If your child loves Thomas, this is a good (if fairly large) toy to have.

I have not had the bad experience as the customers below. My son got it a year ago when he turned 3 and my daughter was 1 and they both love it. So does the kids that come over to play. Now a year later and they still love it, also it's still in great shape. I am now getting it for a friends son. I find that it's easy to fold up, although the kids don't leave it like that very long.

My husband and I ordered this for my daughter's 2nd birthday. Let's just say she doesn't come out of it much. She Loves It!!! It is so cute and worth every penny. She has gotten so many hours of enjoyment out of it. She likes to take her books and her Thomas trains in there as well. If your child loves Thomas, they will love the tent.
