Early Play Jumbo Logging Truck
Made by BRIO
Age Group: 12 months - 6 years
    Amazon base price: $
About 30 inches long, the BRIO Logger is a sturdy plastic truck-and-trailer combo. The truck has a green cab and darkly tinted windows. Sitting atop the yellow trailer is a small red and green crane with a giant grabbing claw and eight 6-inch-long, brown plastic logs. Kids will have plenty of fun loading and unloading the logs and then getting the rig on the road to the wood factory. Like all BRIO toys, it comes with a lifetime guarantee against manufacturing defects. --Rob Lightner

Not the best for the price
I bought this for my three-year-old son for Christmas, and before he had even played with it for two minutes, the cab with the crane part was broken at the point where it snaps on to the flatbed. For $55, I feel this is a cheaply made product. The plastic is flimsy and the parts are not durable. However, he does like it, although it is frustrating for him to have to constantly try to put the cab and crane back on the flatbed portion. I would not recommend this product because there are so many more well made trucks and machines out there for 1/2 the price or less./

    Pricey for a Plastic Toy
My son got this as a Christmas present and absolutely loves the truck. The only "issue" I had with the toy was that it was all Plastic for toy with so high a price tag. His Tonka trucks are 1/2 the price and are metal. He soes love it and plays with it often.

    a mixed bag
my kids begged for a logging truck after watching the "House Construction Ahead" video that includes footage of cool logging machines. Our Brio garbage truck has been so durable (they RIDE the thing, for heavens sake) that I figured this would be bomber as well. However, the pick-up claw broke after 10 minutes (on christmas morning, ouch). The company cheerfully replaced the broken piece, but that also broke after a couple days. The claw was never easy for little hands to manipulate - sized more for a grown-up and causing much toddler frustration - so I never bothered replacing it again. But the rest of the truck keeps going and going. My kids are now nearly 40 pounds and they have ridden it with their full weight daily for nearly a year now. I think its indestructible. What a shame that they put such a junky claw piece on an otherwise sturdy toy

The Best Toy I'v Ever Bought
This Toy is the greatest toy I've ever played with. The prices are low and they give you (((((2)))))) blimps. The blimps don't pop when you stick a sowing needle through it. They can gow pretty fast. The greates thing is you can use them indoors or out. I would reccomend using them indoors because when outdoors they can get stuck in trees. even with their strong twin engine sometimes the wind can carry them away.

      Great Value for the Price
This is the coolest item I have seen. It works great and you can get helium from any party store or florist and have a ball. The helium last a few days and the blimps fly great. Plus, you get 2 for the price.

      Nice.

      DO NOT BUY!!!
I hve purchased the blimp set...and i thought it was the best thing that money could buy. Oh yes it is very epensive for JUST the blimps and engens and all the electronic items that are included... BUT that is not all of the costs. You also need to pay [$$$] for helium. I also had to return it TWICE to get a new one because the helium would not stay in. The engens also broke. If i were you I would save my money for somthing better. I had used it for a while before the helium ran out and i was not going to go refill it because of the high price. This product is not worth the money so i recomend to not buy it. I hope my review is as helpfull to you as it would have been for me. [...]

        neat-o
(...). this halo action figure is very fun, although the scratches on his armor are a little un-realistic. the only major draw-back to this toy is that the knees dont have a joint, and the hands will come off with a little bit of pulling and tugging.

        Sargent Stacker
The sargent stacker toy is an excellent toy, his battle armor is well worn (from all the fightingwith the Covenant) the guns are also extreamly realistic with the M90 shotgun in high detail. This is one hardcore marine and toy.

It doesn't do a whole lot
Once you've put this set together -- and it's deceptively difficult for as small as it is -- and fire it up, you and your kid will probably say, "Cool!" 5-10 minutes later, you'll be looking for something else to do. If you buy another Hot Wheels car to put on the track (Matchbox cars don't work, and the box warns that "not all Hot Wheels cars are compatible" either), maybe there is some excitement in hoping the cars will crash at the intersection, causing the little "explosion" the designers have built in at the only possible crash site. However, straight out of the box, what you get is one car, a battery-powered impeller and a tiny track with two possible loop patterns, each of which literally takes less than two full seconds to complete. So you turn it on, drop the car on the track and watch it rocket around this loop and over a tiny (9 cm to be exact) jump again and again and again. If you want to interact, you can push down a lever and make the car take a different loop that is even smaller and has no jump. Is it cool? Initially... but it quickly becomes as interesting as watching the clothes spin around in the dryer.

          Mattel are you listening?
This toy is about as much fun as all of the other over-hyped pieces of crap Mattel is foisting on our children nowadays. The greedy misers go out of their way to make sure none of the sets work together or can interconnect (and yes, I've bought a half-dozen or so). What you get is basically a self-contained unit that can only be put together one way. And they won't sell you individual tracks and connectors in stores any longer (though I saw one review that claimed you could get them direct from Mattel). Well, growing up my brother and I had only gravity, but we could put tracks together in a myriad of imaginative ways and create our own race courses, instead of being stuck with some adult's idea of what is supposed to be fun. Now wouldn't that be a great educational and creative "breakthrough" today?

I was able to buy a few spare pieces of track left on a shelf by accident in one toystore, no connectors and the salepeople didn't know what I was talking about. I made my own connectors from plastic milk jugs and my five year old likes the homemade tracks better than all the monstrous junk you can buy.

          WAY COOL!
My daughter received this for her birthday and she LOVES it. It only took me about 15 minutes to put together (I thought the directions were fairly easy to follow) and so far it works wonderfully, we have had no problems with the track pieces coming apart. WAY COOL!

            Can Be Sold Less Exspensive
Lifelike Trains are good sturdy trains (...). I bought a Lifelike train set for 9 bucks at my local Albertsons. The tracks are great as long as they're on a flat surface. The engines that come with each set are rather unstable but the best thing about train sets all together is that you can always add on and on. So I recommend buying another engine (...). Oh, and after time buy a new transformer.

In the model railroad world you get what you pay for and it varies on how serious you are or it's something to keep the kids entertained.

To make a long story short. These trains are best for starting out but the prices can be brought down a bit.

            We were disappointed......
I purchased this train set for my son for Christmas. The details on the cars, tracks and extras were beautiful and the quality of the set as a whole was great! But....it was SO frustrating to operate. You have to have the cars lined up EXACTLY on the track to make them move. When my husband was having trouble lining up the two sets of wheels on one car to get it to go, I knew we were in trouble. When we finally had things moving, we added a few cars - they fell off around the corners going only at medium speed. Great quality, Poor performance is my rating.

            Christmas morning disappointment
I purchased this train for my two sons who wanted nothing else but an electic train set for Christmas. What a disappointment. The lifts for the track do not securely fit into the underside of the tracks which results in the lifts slipping out from under the track and the train falling off the tracks. After attempting to rig up a way to secure the track, we set up the train. The engine arrived broken. The electrical component was loose and was sticking outside of the train. We had to fix the train before we could use it. Each time the boys want to use the train, we have to spend much time rigging it in such a way so it will run. Once we get it going, we're lucky to get the train around the track one time without it falling off. I would NOT reccomend this train set.

              Hot Wheels Teaches Chemistry!
Outstanding toy! Great looking, bigger than I expected. Not really a need for more Nitrox2 as the whole purpose is to get kids to experiment with different common household spices and beverages (ie: cranberry juice and baking soda). The kids keep trying until they figure out what it IS that makes this car go! Really and truly, if you know chemistry at all it won't take long to help your child, but let them learn some scientific principles and have fun doing it!

Never meant to be the TV show Batmobile
The reason this Batmobile does not resemble the one from the televison show in some respects is that it is based on the comic book, not the TV show. I am not sure if Playing Mantis has the license for the show or not, but I do know they have a Batplane model which was never in the show.

I have the '50s model and the '60s model, and both are fun to build and great to display.

Johnny Lightning Batmobile Could have been better
This is not a replica of the 60's t.v. show. The Barris Batmobile did not have headlights or the yellow thing is the lower cut out, only yellow marker light in front. The original had 3 rocket launchers, turbine exhaust that shot out a flame, had an ariel with lights and beacon on top. It also had two rear winshields like on the front. It had a bat turn lever on roof, bat phone, computers. The fins on the rear on the JL do not have the webbing, the rear bumper is wrong, the hood is totally wrong the realone had no chrome or tail lights. Ther is no chain cutter, the interior is all wrong. I dont know if they did not get permission from george barris or what but ths is a poor copy of the batmobile! The Corgi # 267 was the best copy of a batmobile made.

There is no specification/description given on the site. The only specification you can find is from the picture that claims to be 720mAh. But when you recieve the battery, the actual mAh is 620 which is written on battery.

                  no worries
having this with 2 batteries is a life saver. i never have to worry about my 4 year old not having his truck or his robot at any given moment.

                  super money saver
The Nikko Rechargeable battery and adapter makes a good deal for money. It has slashed my battery bills to nothing. The set is light in weight and can be conveniently recharged in hours. A stronger casing would have helped but nonetheless the set is a right deal for someone who uses up lot of batteries. The charging capacity remains strong enough for long term use.

                  A very good mech game
It's easy to see why the Official U.S. PlayStation Magazine rated this product 4 out of 5. Great graphics, great music & sfx, great FMV, and great gameplay. YOU CAN DESTROY ANYTHING THAT'S ON-SCREEN - COOOOL!! The multi-player modes are some of the best I've ever played on PlayStation. Visually, it's not far from PS2 games. I can't wait for Iron Soldier 4!

                  Really outstanding
I have played both Iron Soldier and Iron Soldier 2, but neither can be compared to the feature-rich and visually impressive Iron Soldier 3. This version carries this exciting franchise to new levels. There is not any element of the game that I don't find superior. If you have never experienced the thrills of destroying whatever you want with an Iron Soldier mech, then climb aboard! The head-to-head gameplay options are an added bonus.

Bratz Formal Funk FM Late Night Limousine
                  Made by MGA Entertainment
                  Age Group: 6 - 9 years
                    Amazon base price: $
"Formal Funk" is characterized by this all-inclusive, Prom-bound, stretch limousine. Chrome detailing, a gray interior, and cushioned, pivoting seats (with working belts) pronounce its luxury. For realism, the limo's head and taillights illuminate, the tinted windows lift, the horn blows, the wheels turn, and the gear and steering wheel move. That, however, is where "formal" ends and "funk" begins! The hood hides a real FM radio, and the trunk contains a "mega-bass" speaker, which spouts tunes clearly. A smoothie bar (the Bratz are never without one) rests between the backseats, and a lift-up dash houses a "primping station" The funkiest thing of all: the limo's roof comes off to make it a convertible! Other accessories include a "pop-up" TV screen, perfume, makeup tools, and more. Required: 5 "AA" batteries. Warning: choking hazard due to small parts. Not for kids under 3 years. Diane Beall

                    VERY DISAPPOINTED
My daughter received this limo for her birthday. I was extremely disappointed. It falls apart. It was made extremely poor. I believe it was purchased for over $80.00. It is not worth $1.00. Do yourself a favor, do not buy it.

                    Biggest waste of money
If the scales went to zero that is what I would have put. The dolls do not fit in the car without removing the sunroof, considering it constantly falls off, along with the doors, trunk lid, windshield and hood that is fairly simple to accomplish. The ONLY educational value is the kids learn patience and small hand coordination putting the car back together again. (...). It sits in the closet because my 9 year old grandaughter got sick of it falling apart all the time. So fun factor ZERO educational value 1/2 durability-negative 100
I hope this review is helpful and it can save you all a few dollars NOT buying this worthless, useless item.
